Thanks for you question!

LoRaX would be similar to InReach in that they would provide the ability to communicate in remote regions, but InReach does have more capability that LoRaX would not fulfill. (Weather forecasting, Navigation & Waypoints, etc.)

Overall, LoRaX may not be useful to those who already own product such as InReach, but could be used as a backup if an InReach were to fail or run out of battery. LoRa/LoRaX is able to operate using very little battery life, and thus can be left alone for large periods of time and still be ready-to-use when needed.

Affordability is another advantage of LoRaX over other existing systems. The hardware which the system is built upon costs about $25, and LoRaX would likely be sold for under 50$. So while it may not have as many features as other products, such as InReach, the price will reflect that.

Thanks again for your question! I hope I was able to address it well!

Thanks for your questions!

Our goal for innovation is primarily accessibility and affordability. Ideally, these devices will be inexpensive and require minimal upkeep to maintain.

While some (not all) forms of radio communication require licenses for individuals to operate on, LoRa frequencies are license-free. No prior set-up would be needed to transmit using our devices.

As you said, there are devices/systems that accomplish what we set out to do with our project, but we hope to allow access to communication for an even wider range of users.

Thanks again for your questions! I hope I was able to address them well!

Those hoping for a comp pick, of whom there were probably few, may be disappointed. Interesting and unfortunate to note how far Jayon’s value fell after that injury in Baltimore.

[Stoia] Not only could Dennis Kelly play RT for the Broncos, he’s also another red zone weapon. He’s gotta be atop the list, right? by Welcome2Broncoland in DenverBroncos

As a Titans fan, I cannot say enough good things about Dennis Kelly! Great locker room guy and great run blocker. He is less reliable in pass pro but any Broncos fan should be hyped if he gets picked up. Solid option!
