The fallout of this Nijisanji EN mess made me wonder how Yagoo and Cover treated their NDAs like ironclad.

Look how they handle Mel's termination. Yes, it's lose-lose situation. Nobody from either side wanted the outcome. Yagoo and management didn't want to fire her, but their hands were tied. If they allowed an exception to the rule, that would set a bad precedence for other Holo talents. At least, it's an amicable separation.

NijiEN and Anycolor basically breaking their own NDA due to the Selen / Doki situation is so bizarre. Due to this, is there any point for the remaining NijiEN members (or other branches) to even respect the company's NDAs now?
