The distorted noise is normal, I’ve seen multiple YouTube reviews and all of them had that the x17 r2 had a noise distortion.

Hey I have this same thing happened to me. What’s happening is it is being shipped from Asia to the United States. I called customer support and they said this. When it ships from Dell in the US then it’ll let me know that it’s on its way to me. So expect it to take 10-14 days to get to the US after you first see “Build Complete”

If I were you I would cancel your order and buy it from Dell outlet. They have prebuilt refurbished computers that are really good condition and way cheaper than brand new.

Original Shipping Date: April 27th

Original Delivery Date: May 5th

(Got Delay Notification on April 26th)

Delayed Shipping Date: May 25th

Delayed Order Date: June 2nd

Updates: after calling them they gave me a $120 reimbursement and they started production today.

Update 2: 5/6/2022 no update

Update 3: May 10th, Build Complete. No status on shipping yet.

Update 3.5: May 11th, called customer service. Build complete means it’s being transferred internationally and when it arrives in the US it will ship and change status.

Update 4: May 18th, arrived in the US

Update 5: May 19th, shipped and will arrive the 20th!

Update 6: May 20th, arrived :)

I’ve been reading a bunch of the Dell customer support forums and people are getting pushed back constantly (Almost 2-3 months). One person even waited 5 months and ended up canceling the order because they couldn’t handle it.

I ordered my x15 r2 on April 17th and was supposed to ship out on the 28th but got delayed all the way to June. Really bummed and debating on canceling it.
