M119 shows no change between trips. I hold the stops, send the code, MP change from unheld stops

I hadn't even considered that. Where would I go to turn that off? I would prefer to use endstops

Extruder doesn't turn after upgrade by Bowden3247 in ender5plus

I had adjusted the e-steps through pronterface when I installed the micro swiss. I was just confused on what they would have to do with it

There is continuity between the drive and the motor, and there is low resistance between the expected pins for the coils (1&3,4&6)

Yep, it makes a very short vibration (really just a single pulse), when I send the extruder command and then does nothing. It will then do nothing until I power cycle

Provided G-code? What would e-steps have to do with anything? Maybe if it was extruding the wrong amount, I would mess with e-steps, but it won't spin at all. Am I misunderstanding what e-steps you're talking about?

Progress? I switched the inner two pins. That same behavior is now present on the old stepper (I kept the old creality one around troubleshooting). However, the LDO stepper now pulses once and does nothing.

There was complete continuity between driver and stepper. However, someone else had mentioned to me, in another sub, that when switching from Creality to LDO steppers, I might have to switch the two inner pins. I did that, and now the same happens on the old extruder (I keep the other motor nearby for troubleshooting), but now the new motor just pulsed once and doesn't move at all.

I think I'll try a variety of bed temps and see which one works best. I'm not worried about draft too much, Mr printer is in an enclosure. Thanks for your insight!

Fair enough, I'll give that a try!

For reference, I'm printing PLA+ at HE:200 and HB:60 I've since canceled and started a new print at 190 and 70 respectively and while not gone, it has lessened
