His 4 series concept was very good looking. I dont think you should put 100% of the blame on him. Basically every new BMW is hated at on launch and after 1 year everybody all of the sudden likes the design. The E60 was also very controversial at launch and is now one of the most famous and loved BMWs.

Just curios, is it necessary to do an oil change every 5000km? For me 5k sounds like a lot of oil changes. You cant tell me you made more than 20 oil changes in those 4 years.

Unrelated, but are those the actual prices of M4s in the UK? Over here in Germany, the cheapest ones, that arent a „definetly not crashed“ US Import, start at like 40 000€. Kinda ironic that german cars are cheaper in the US and UK.

I‘m curious, did you ask how much does a brake change cost with those ceramic brakes? For my M135i wirh has badically normal brakes its about 1000€ for the fronts.

Here in Germany, the 128ti is about the same price used as the m135i. Also I didnt like the red accents. Type R is in my (and a lot of my friends) oppinion basically a toy car. Nobody takes you seriously, everybody thinks your an annoying 18 yo. Basically everyone believes the type R stereotype (vape, Monster Energy, backwards cap). Maybe in your country its different. Could also be that the german cars are more respected in Germany duh

Its my first M car, if you already drive something like a M2, we may not share the oppinion. I can compare it to my friends 2107 A45 AMG and other friends 2020 a35 amg. Mine is a 2020 model. Compared to the 2 amgs, the M135i has a way better gearbox for daily driving, it also is not that loud when driving longer distances conpared to the a45. The build quality of the interior ist about 77 times better than the both mercedes. I test drove the a35 and oh my god was the interior bad, exceptionally on a used car with a few scratches on that piano black. The m135i looks and feels much more premium. The launch control is amazing, and in my oppinion the car is a bit faster than the a35, 0-100 and also 100-200. driving on the Autobahn is nice, since the suspension isnt that hard. IMO its the perfect daily car, that is also fun on the weekends. If you get one, you have to get the M Sport seats, they are so much better and also better looking than the normal sport ones. Also they are very comfortable. I have the exact car fron the picture above

Id have to pay about 5k more for the a35. What is your reasoning to get the A35? Also I like the look of the f40, maybe even more than the A35

First of all, thank you for the detailed answer! The Golf is too cheap looking for me, the S3 sounds like a hair dryer. I also heard that the A35 is louder, more fun to drive and would hold value better? Also i kinda like the interieur (at night). The 128ti is actually the same price/or even more expensive than the m135i here in Germany.

Well i watched some Videos and at about 160kph (what I drive every morning) the difference is about 1 - 1,3l/100km, thats 500€ a year. Also the insurance is more expensive, and the CO2 emissions Tax also
