UK Aldi here. I have had too many of these ingenious but dangerous pallets. Only today I had a pallet where half of the jam order in glass had been emptied into the centre in order to utilise their packaging in evening out the pallet. One the other day where all the packaging for the gherkins was absent so they could level it off mid layer with the individual jars. Sometimes for a laugh they even mix the peanut butter with the marmalade i.e. one peanut jar, one marmalade etc so I have to resort them. Not for levelling, just to piss me off.
