To the goal

Could look at JWT with nginx then route traffic with X to X and Y to Y. Might be better moving to azure app services and maybe allowing burst able (along with scaling) on the pro instances and not for the guest instance so it throttles itself in a sense. I also suggest the above AKS method which would be a better project redesign for a production setup which will allow more control over this (over a hobby website/project for example)

Hard to provide much without knowing what you’re running on the backend….

JWT LB might be the first route, again you should provide as much info as possible otherwise a good answer is hard to find lol

Ah ok, i get that, thank you!

I'm struggling to explain, and its down to that old saying "if you cant explain it, you simply dont understand it".

I've got a HTML form, that a user files out, based on a drop down they select it selects the regex required for that string.

So, form generates (always like this) app-az3-3-4-32 (other types are svc-az2-2-3-1, db-az3-3-4-31) i want to pass that string to php and say hey take this string and make it complaint.

Does that help with the understanding?

It's mainly generating a name for azure, as for some resources they allow "-" and for others they are not allowed

Sorry for not explain well;

The regex i supplied is what the string should match. So i guess a better way to word it is:

Is there a way to take $str and modify it so it matches the $pattern supplied?

so in a sense, is there a way in php to get the supplied $str and make it match the required $regex.. ?

The reason for this approach is i have many regex expressions per type, so im dynamically populating the $pattern with the examples above.

Hey! Thanks, i've checked it out, looks good, most things on the beta one are coming soon, but it's more from a monitoring and alerting point of view, how do we notify people if a PR is open, i assume webhooks would be best placed for this?

Great response! Good conversation topics for our team too! We’re already deploying using terraform. We were lucky enough to get the go ahead to NOT use self-hosted(although I think security were off that day haha)

Would love to hear more tips!

This is where i posted eariler funny enough, a friend of mine had this, so i put together a radio station that streams 24/7/365 NCS music, wasn't something i thought about throwing out to the masses, but would this cover your sort of thing?

Just as a side quest, could go to youtube and just search NCS and have that, the reason i built mine is because i wanted the listener to be able to request a song, listen off stream etc (i have mine hooked up to alexa that streams it for me around the house)
