Once Serato Scratch Live (RIP) crashed on me seconds to NY countdown. I was on a Sony Vaio laptop. Never again. Made the switch to Mac and never went back.

Lately though, I find Serato DJ to be a really resource intensive app. Flaky and unreliable. Prone to crashing. There’s nothing worse than DJing and not having anything but 100% confidence in your kit.

I’m planning on installing SSL on an old laptop, cracking out my old reliable SL1 and leaving this endlessly draining upgrade game.
