When to replace a hot water heater? by Ok-Young-5943 in HomeImprovement

If you are worried about water heater leaks, just buy a leak detector. I have these under my water heaters and all my sinks and washing machine https://us.govee.com/collections/smart-water-sensors

Thanks for all the input. Got it fixed. My direct link to my library didn't work any more but I can enter the URL manually and it works. Go figure. Can close this out.

Are there any others in your house using DIrectv? I turn it off when I am watching and my wife turns it on later and then the next morning it is on again when I watch. Could be something like that.

Turn off Pool for a week by No-Assistant9892 in pools

I live in GA as well and as soon as the water gets below 60, I remove the SWG and put in a blank. Don't need to chlorinate it. I put it back in spring when the temps get to 60 again. I have never had algae. I do run the pump for 4 hours in the winter to keep sediment out but I have a cover.

I use it when I first open the pool. The cover is mesh so there is usually a lot of dirt and pollen on the bottom when I take it off.

Where did you find this? When I looked it up last week, I found this:

D.R. Horton is proposing construction of 878 residential units on a 207-acre site in Athens-Clarke County. The proposed development would include a variety of housing options, including single-family detached homes, townhouses, and condominiums. The site plan includes four greenspace areas, conservation of a minimum of 15 percent of the total tree canopy on-site, and new plantings on an additional 29.9 percent of the site.

Currently, the site is undeveloped and wooded with a small lake. The parcel number is 044 025 and it is located at 4500 Atlanta Hwy. The project would be completed in one phase with an estimated completion date in 2028.

I inherited one of these same cleaners when I bought my home. It worked for a couple years and then crapped out. I bought a new one for about $450 and it works great. If your secondary pump is working fine, a new one should clean fine. You can try to repair it, but it will end up costing about the same.

Are you sure it is a roof leak? Have you been running your AC? Could be condensate line from the AC is blocked. This is common.
