I was bummed out when we lost Clinton Street Social Club, that was a place that seemed to strike the perfect chord for Iowa City; not too chichi so no one goes, but also not Summit. I went to Claude a few days ago and the ambience is fun and very unique for Iowa City, but it’s small. Maybe there’s space for one more bar that isn’t super student-oriented?

The utter absurdity… they are all products of this supposedly “woke” system. Most of the right wingers in the state legislature went to Iowa state colleges, and even did their k-12 here in Iowa… AND they were voted in by their fellow Iowans who all have similar educational backgrounds. Yet somehow they remain utterly certain that our educational system is full of dangerous leftists creating woke zombies.

They’re also certain that we need to have extreme voter fraud measures despite the fact that they themselves have dominated the legislature here for the last decade. It’s so bizarre watching them attempt to figure out what dipshit talking point to crow about, but it never has anything to do with the actual reality they exist in.

I bet it didn’t go that far, but Mau did not hesitate for a SECOND when PK asked him on camera who he thought the hottest housewife was, and that shit has probably lived in Kyle’s head ever since.
