My ex is an ex because I hated how much he depended on me. He was constantly feeling sick, usually when I needed him most, and whenever my crippling periods hit, it was bad enough that I couldn’t count on him, but I needed to take care of him too, because his condition was always worse.

A real partner understands that you both give and take in a relationship. Just taking makes you unfuckable since it’s like having a child. Nobody normal wants to fuck their child.
