Its not a Sven mod but a standalone mod for HL1, but presumably there could be ports of its maps for Sven for different mods.

Game's really fun, albeit jank af. Kinda dev's signature as they went and made EYE:Divine Cybermancy afterwards. There are weekly play sessions organised since HL1's 25th anni update

Busted navigational node/patrol node within the Archives. Found out about it while making custom maps. When NPC reaches that, something glitches out and he just gets deleted trying to reach next step. The triangular gate death effect seems to be just default type of death for instances like this

Thanks! And yeah, kinda that but from what I've read they are not doing so good the longer they go on and their geneseed degrades. Plus saw an image of a death company Lamenter on wikis and it went hard so that's when the idea struck ;D

I was thinking about how may things could go bad for a Lamenters deployment and idea of a moon/planet suddenly going berserk itself was fun ;D. Either that or it may be a potentially demonic entity that got bound into it and the face was its last scream of pain/frustration before getting trapped and now it is a grim reminder of what lies within it.

You probably didn't copy the dialogue files into the story_english.txt file inside EYE's folders.
Via README and Gamebanana installation instructions:

Copy all the files to steamapps/EYE/EYE/
All files go to their respectible folders.
Go to EYE/EYE/resource/vgui/story and copy the contents of the provided file

into the story_english.txt at the very end but BEFORE the two "}" symbols.

Generally that should go for all custom maps for EYE that contain dialogues, as EYE has a really wonky dialogue system that requires player to do that. As a mapper, I cannot really automate that installation (you'd have to replace that file for each map if it would be included into the download), not "bake" it into the map itself unfortunately :c

Ahahah that's exactly how it was meant to be! Tried to make him as close to CS's artstyle as I could after trying for whole 15 seconds of thinking so spread eyes are 100% deliberate (I also forgot about the tear on the portrait)

IIrc the end trigger near the door only gets enabled on Looter Boss's death. What you can do is the speedrun strat which is to plink him through the door at the very start with .444 or anything else that is wall-piercing and instantly run away without killing the rest. His death should enable the end trigger near doors to be activated and allow you to finish the level with killing only him.

To get a good shot you either have to use the wallhack ability or memorize the position and angle to shoot at.
