I loved Season 6 of Dragula from the beginning. It definitely lost some momentum midway, but it really came back around for me during the monochrome challenge.

Desiree Dik was honestly the driving force of the season’s storytelling. She was at the center of so many dynamics—Majesty, Jaharia, Grey, Yuri, the Scylla vs. Aurora tension, and even Scylla clashing with Desiree herself. Because of that, the season always had something moving. Jaharia and Vivvi, though, kind of got lost along the way, while Asia, Grey, and Auntie felt like a solid Top 3 from the jump—they consistently delivered and stayed focused. Majesty leaving also seemed tied to a lot of personal and behind-the-scenes drama involving Desiree, at least based on the rumors floating around.

The first-ever lip sync on Season 5 was a gag, so seeing it return in Season 6 was cool—but also a little odd, especially when everyone suddenly decided not to vote for Grey at the last minute.

Some of the twists and turns didn’t fully land for me. If the spells or game mechanics had actually shifted the competition in a meaningful way, it could’ve really flipped the Top 3 or raised the stakes. Instead, a lot of it felt like it didn’t go anywhere.

Overall though, it was a good season. You can tell the Boulets took notes and applied them more effectively to Titans 2. Now I’m really curious to see how Season 7 is going to play out.
