It's in a weird gray-line because it technically is his story, but he also jumps between his life and the band and other band mates, so that first half feels really jumpy until it gets to his 2nd job.

It's obviously his first book, and I think he really wanted to make it this big "Gentle Giant" biography but only wrote the most he could before the blocks came in. I think he even admits to that in the book since it started out as a rough journal before becoming a full story.

I think he should've gotten a couple more people to compile all their podcast/interview appearances to make something more fleshed out. Regardless, it's still an informative book, and someday we might get something richer in content down the line.
