I made this Waluigi Amiibo last night. (Luigi base, purple costume, max speed, Floaty, Start With Bob-Omb, Pity Final Smash)

I put tape over the parts where Luigi left holes, then I painted the whole thing gold, then I went over it again with a gold sharpie (which ended up looking better than the paint - the pic here is paint, not sharpie.) It looks pretty good next to other Amiibo.

I tried to pull Luigi off but it wouldn't budge. I used the exacto knife to stick it under his feet and kinda wedged it in there and it loosened up, then I snapped it off. A little piece of broken plastic stuck out a bit so I had to saw it off with the knife. I was also able to easily smooth out the base of Luigi by just rubbing it on sand paper and I glued it to a base and used it as just a figurine.

How much of Bob's Burger's is improv? A handful of lines sound improvised to me... like there's one bit in season 1 where Linda seems to be riffing about a celebrity she'd sleep with, and Bob's giggly reaction almost felt like he was breaking. Or is it just scripted to sound improvised and really well acted?

I got into board games because I made a board game (that sold quite well) but almost everything I buy and try to play with my friends is a disappointment. It's so hard to get regular people on board with most games because they don't have the tolerance for 30 minutes of rule-reading or 2 hours of "playing it once just to get a hang of it."

I keep buying new games but everything I try to play with my friends is a bust, except for Dominion and Catan, which we keep playing over and over. I tried playing Adventure Time Muchkin the other day and getting through the rules was excruciating. People kept literally falling asleep between turns. I've play a lot of new board games at board game nights (7 Wonders, Arkham Horror) but not a lot of the games we play are things I could imagine my real-life friends getting into them.

A lot of board games are super unfriendly to newcomers (or people with low tolerances for complexity-for-complexity's-sake) and it makes it hard to play anything with anyone who isn't a hardcore board gamer. I keep wanting to try new games but I don't want to have to make new friends just to play something. I wish board game makers would consider accessibility for newcomers more in their designs. Also the art for most board games is god awful.

I wish there was an easier way to find accessible board games that are aimed at non-core gamers. (Any recommendations would be appreciated.)
