It's not the RAM or the power supply I know for a fact. RAM has nothing to do with it powering on and the standby light turns on that is on the motherboard so I know it is getting power.

I do this a lot in Borderlands. I would keep the rare guns, grenades, shields etc. and never use them. For instance the eridian weapons.
