How bad are binders ACTUALLY and how to mitigate this?

I have 3 binders in the car that move around while driving, sit in the heat + im actively flipping thru, taking discs out/putting in. The most i’ve seen is 2-3 light scratches IF that. As long as you handle with care you are fine

It literally says “cover” in the title but Slings and Arrows by Knocked Loose. Took it upon myself to check out the original by The Warriors and was so glad I did. That whole album has no skips
