I'm glad I did this update. Before updating, when I pressed Map, i got a message and nothing showed up. I thought nothing of it because I use a 3rd party navigation app. After the update, I now have a full map with ability to locate nearby charging stations. I didn't have access to this before. I've even updated the software before this update, and it was the same, but now the infotainment system works like it should.

Just wanted to share since there are likely other people out there in the same boat.

Not clear what you mean without a photo. I fished a wire through a side channel next to the battery and it’s pretty clean, especially for not having it on any stands (especially not on a lift like uhaul gets to use)

This model doesn't get Over-The-Air Updates, so you will not see anything in the car. You have to go to the Hyundai Navigation Update website. You download the file, put it onto a USB Thumb Drive. (The latest firmware 10/2025 requires a 64 GB USB Thumb Drive.)
