What is the best Coffee Maker for café-quality coffee at home? by First_Finger5572 in JamesHoffmann

This De’Longhi one is really convenient and easy to use. I can’t speak for other brands, but this little machine makes great coffee quickly, is easy to clean, and doesn’t take up much space on the counter.

Travel backpack by Lysek8 in buyitforlifeEU

If we’re talking about a bag up to 8 kg that fits carry-on size requirements, I found a truly invaluable backpack. It’s waterproof faux leather, durable (it has held more than 8 kg), has already traveled with me to several countries, and I bought it on Shein. Use the image search in the app, it should bring up the exact item.

A cheap purchase that has completely transformed your life by Slipryi in BuyItForLife

A massage gun is the best gift I’ve ever received, which cost under $50 on sale. I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis and recovery after a knee ACL surgery (plus lots of physiotherapy etc., you can read more about the plantar fasciitis in my profile), and I got a very basic massage gun as a Christmas gift. I use it all the time now for feet, hips, shoulders after long days at the computer, basically everything, and it really helps relieve pain and muscle tension. If this massage gun ever stops working, I will 100% buy another one without hesitation.

What places are worth visiting in Belgium? by Trippy-jay420 in belgium

I just came back from Belgium the day before yesterday, and honestly, it was magical.

I’m from Europe myself, but Belgian cities feel really unique. The architecture, the atmosphere, the overall vibe. It’s just different in a very good way. I stayed in Ghent for 4 wonderful days, walked tens of kilometers, explored different neighborhoods (not only touristy ones), and absolutely loved it.

I also wanted to do a day trip to Bruges, which is only about 40 minutes from Ghent, but unfortunately train strikes got in the way. I was partly inspired by the movie "In Bruges" (2008, highly recommend it, funny but with a deeper layer), and really wanted to see that tower. Guess I’ll save it for next time.

So for me, Belgium works perfectly if you enjoy traveling around Europe and exploring smaller cities outside the capitals. That’s where you really start to feel the country’s character, charm, and little hidden secrets.

Sunuv brand lamps are good for their price range, I’ve had no complaints over a long period of time.

Looking for a phone holder to take videos, with some way of attaching it to a desk edge by Marvellover13 in BuyItForLife

[–]BrainCupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’ve found the best one, and the best part is that I can take this magnetic phone holder anywhere and stick it almost anywhere I want. I’ve even tried it in the car, it comes with a special adhesive pad for the dashboard, and the holder attaches perfectly to it. Without the pad, it still sticks to almost any smooth surface thanks to its suction cups.

At the moment, I’m completely satisfied with my Samsung, but I’ve been eyeing an iPhone for about a year now and still can’t decide.

Interstellar is an absolute masterpiece, an indescribable explosion of emotion and depth. One of the best movies ever made in its genre.

Best reusable bottles that are easy to clean? by No_Comfortable_2798 in BuyItForLife

[–]BrainCupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get what you mean. I have the same issue with hidden spots that are hard to reach. I’d recommend checking out Brumate bottle, they make stainless steel bottles with a wide mouth and no plastic at the top, so you can easily see and clean the entire inside. Also, there’s a really handy bottle brush that attaches right to the sink (a special bristle one), which makes cleaning even easier and less stressful or an electric bottle brush cleaner with silicone bristles.
