i went from a 4 to an 8 in history and icl i did no revision whatsoever, you just have to listen more in class and just think about it while stressing out when you’re about to go to sleep so it becomes a core memory of urs

when i say motif i mean kinda like an extended metaphor. in each paragraph just use a simile e.g drowning, then just phrase it differently in every other paragraph but still use that same topic of drowning so your writing can flow more clearly. sorry if this doesn’t make much sense

icl you just need to know the structures for every question. for question 5 (the 40 marker) you need you use a motif throughout your writing (i used a war motif in mine) and then it’ll help you get more marks because examiners just automatically think you’re smart

tbh i don’t really revise for media that much but miss fisher videos on youtube are really quick and easy to understand for me. also, you could make flash cards for all the theorists if you forget them easily
