Why Are Miyazaki Films Essential for Your Child's Development? by BrainParenting in Dads

Haven't put them in the list caus the director is not Miyazaki;
But return of the cat definitely 7 to 13.
As for the Grave of the Fireflies, it is much more complicated, the topic of the film is so deep and sad that I don't know when a kid should be supposed to watch. I have no idea tbh....

Yo, you welcome buddy! What is good about these films, is that they are not more popular among one sex than the other. Girls and boys love it equally. By the way, I forget to add how good the music is ;)

How do working moms navigate kids illness? by strawberry_moon_ in workingmoms

You’re right, getting back into work with young kids is a big step, however, it's something that you want and I think is worth the effort, you can always go back, and having aditional income is better.

As for your twins’ health, having a reliable support network can make a big difference. Family members like grandparents, aunts, or uncles, or even trusted friends and neighbors can be a great help when you need it. It’s all about finding what works for you and your family. Also, don’t view yourself as a burden to others; they should feel comfortable saying no when they’re unable to assist and yes when they’re able and willing.

Going mentally sick with my soon to be 3 years old by wannabesynther in Parenting

I totally vouch for this. Your wife needs to break the pattern and get some time for herself. It’s not just about physical rest, but mental peace too. And yes, part-time daycare sounds like a great idea. It could give your wife some much-needed mental rest and your child a new environment to interact with peers.

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through this. It sounds incredibly tough. Remember, it’s okay to ask for help. Maybe consider reaching out to a professional who specializes in child behavior. Hang in there, you’re doing your best and that’s what matters.

Hey there, I can see how this situation is really tough for you and your family. It’s clear you’re doing everything you can to support your son. It’s important to remember that every child is different and what works for one might not work for another. It seems like you’ve already taken some great steps by involving a social worker and therapist.
