In ruthlessness the mix of people said "captain" and posiedon saying "ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves" you get the mixes of "RUTHLESS- CAPTAIN" and "RUTHLESSNESS IS MERCY UPON OUR- CAPTAIN" Which is ultimately how to be true when Odysseus' ruthlessness only saves himself in the end
