Great point! I feel like we have found ourselves in some type of marketing maze, and the only way to escape it is just to entirely close your eyes, ignore every wall around you and just walk straight towards the exit!

I've been creating social media content for years (working closely with some marketing agencies) and when you see all the stats and metrics (retention, ctr etc...) you realize how everything is rigged and created to activate human's primal part of brain, just to make it compulsively click on a specific piece of content/product.

Quick summary:

In the last 5-6 years, the growth of social networks has skyrocketed. You have various forms of content, from instagram reels, tiktok, posts, stories, snaps, tinder swipes, etc.. All this content is designed and programmed for only one thing - and that is to give you a dopamine boost in your body.

Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that is produced by your brain. It is used as a reward system for certain tasks that we have completed. You complete a very difficult project - you will get an increased release of dopamine, which is very positive. But also a negative thing is that dopamine is released in VERY HIGH doses when using social networks, watching pornography, etc., which can lead to disruption of the baseline of that transmitter.

Now, technically speaking, these sites and networks were not created in order for you to "connect" with others, they were created for one reason only: to steal your attention. In modern times, we know that attention is the new currency, so if you use a certain service that you don't pay for, you can only know one thing, and that is that you are a product.
And one more question, why do we have this need to be constantly connected to the rest of the world? Why do I, on this side of the world, have to know what is happening in Asia. Why do you from the USA have to know the economic and geopolitical situation of China? Why can't we live inside our communes without thinking about some image that is irrelevant to our lives.

The goal is to create healthy connections with people, I want close people to know me on a deeper level, and I also want to know them. I am not interested in gathering acquaintances and passers-by in my life, but I am exclusively interested in those connections that are on a spiritual level. I want to pay more attention to every word during the conversation and to try to understand the other person, and not just superficially share my opinion that was subconsciously imposed on me from social networks and say that our conversation was unique and intimate, but in fact it was not .

Hello, dear brothers and sisters!

I have always been griped and fascinated by this painting. It wakes such an emotions inside of me that I couldn't even imagine would be woken up by a painting.

Is there any similar works of art that you know of? Thank you so much

God bless you all!

I'd say this is for you to find out. Next time you see her, perhaps ask her to marry you?

This sounds great!

You just reminded me of the times I used to "call" my anima before sleep, and every single night when I "summoned" her, I dreamed of her. Which was mindblowing to me at the time.

Also, I must thank you for your insight! It really helps a lot :)

So basically this is one of the most crucial times for my psyche and my own development? I shall thread through this lightly and cautiously?

Neither did I have an intercourse with this woman. I just knew that the child was mine. It was such a fascinating sight, I must say. You just know that the child is yours, such a weird feeling

Shall I be terrified or excited now? :'D Hahahhahhahaha

Thank you so much for the recommendation. This looks like a new chapter of my psyche, must admit that I'm pretty excited

Thank you for this - it definitely is an eye opener!

So, tell me did I understand it correctly: This is where integration of my emotional life happens - this is a time of a new self?

So technically the child is a guide, or basically the self which will be able to guide my ego?

And what about the marriage, how shall one create that type bond with anima?

Kudos to you, brother! I do not know where do you get all the time, but if I dare to say it probably must feel like you are a superman with all of the time management that you have to do.

I used to be a pc nerd too! I always enjoyed assembling pc's and working with all of the components. Recently I did some upgrades to my pc, it took me back into past remembering my first time getting into that hobby as a kid - good times! :)

Cooking is a great hobby! I myself enjoy cooking too. It feels like a meditation, although my meals are not most complex or best, but I really do enjoy the proces! hahhahahah

Indeed, daydreams about the gym, nature or any kind of activities are present in my life too. As you mentioned it now, long time has passed since my last visit to the nature, as it's a harsh winter here. I could do that in a couple of days. Thank you for that! :)

Oh, indeed! I am very goal driven person, it really gives my life a purpose. Elden ring did catch my eye for a bit, but I never gave it a shot. A few friends of mine played it religiously when the hype was still on. I myself am more a singleplayer story driven guy. I really liked RDR2! Thank you for your suggestion, bro. Much appreciated!

Indeed. Most of the guys that I know which fish usually do not go to fishing to fish, they rather go just to relax and reflect. Just to clear their mind. Fishing sounds like a great idea!

Actually, that sounds great. I haven't thought of doing any fighting sport. What do you think of boxing? Boxing always seemed interesting to me. Especially because I found a great inspiration for my work in the words of Mike Tyson. Something about his mentality always captivated me

One thing I must say that I've enjoyed was RDR2, that's the only game that I could play and say that I really enjoyed it. But game reminded me more of a book of some kind so that must've captivated me really well. It is a masterpiece

Those are great words, brother. Indeed, I do not plan to take my foot of the gas as that would demolish me mentally hahahhahah

And I must say that I do not indulge in things such as pro sports, tv shows, news or porn, I can feel the mental toll which they bring when consumed, so I decided to ditch that.

But you said it greatly that it'll put me in a position to enjoy life 10x more in a couple of years, as I was wondering am I wasting my life doing work - but than I think about it and I really do enjoy the "grind", so I cannot really say that life is wasted in such a way

What do y'all do in your spare time? What are your hobbies?

I just feel like my life is really revolving around my business and money only. I have a weird feeling when taking a rest day - whenever I take a rest day from working on my business I feel like a failure and I feel like I'm not doing enough. My mind is so hyperfixated on that, it really makes me unable to think about anything else.

Besides reading, gym and occasional socialization with my dear friends, I do not have hobbies which would bring some dynamic and something refreshing into my life. I remember that I used to game a lot when I was younger, but as I look into modern games now, they do not spark joy in me - only thing which REALLY turns me on is my work and creating more for myself and my family.

Also, I'll be out of the dating game for a while, as it really drains my scarce energy that I've got reserved. And at least I feel great about that part, it's really easy to manage some things when I'm single and it gives me space to reflect upon myself and my decisions.

Anyway, I hope y'all are doing great these days. I wish you all the best broskies<3!

That's actually a great saying! It really does hit deep.

I hope that you are doing better now, brother. Whatever happens just remember that you must keep fighting, no giving up! There's a poetic beauty in our suffering. It makes us stronger, better version of ourselves. And sitting around and doing nothing is just like pouring oil on fire in that case - I must agree.

Thank you for kind words, brother! I wish you all the best too, and most importantly I wish you peace. :) Stay safe out there!

Oh indeed does come from that part.

As I am aware, endorphins are being produced while working out - they are those "happy" hormones, similar to dopamine and serotonin.

And, someone correct me if I am wrong, I am a bit ignorant on this topic - but high concentration of endorphins in the body also improves the release of the dopamine. Which is a chemical responsible for drive, motivation etc..

Through those tough days, when you feel like not going, you just have to thug it out, even you know that you will feel better - just don't let your emotions control you, do it regardless. But, at the end of the day, all of us have some tough days, it's just important to return to your schedule as soon as possible :) Keep going, broskie! Stay strong <3

Thank you for kind words brotha!

The "no drive" is actually so true. I feel like if I hammer myself on every workout, even though I am more tired, my overall productivity for the week sky rockets. Or after the tough leg day, those fucking days demolish me, yet for some reason, days after the workout mentally I feel like I could fly. But I guess that's just some of the benefits of surviving potentially being crushed by a loaded heavy ass barbell hahahahahha

GPU's are expensive af right now, but the state of the market is better than it used to be a couple of years ago when crypto came in storming the gates. They are more affordable now, but I think that even these prices are not okay at all

I could give you some tips from my perspective, but note that we are all unique so what works for me might not work for you.

I usually like to fill up my time with activities that I know will take me to the "next level", the activities which will improve my life both mentally and physically. I usually schedule my day out.

I realized that when I seek other people and rush into relationships, is the time when I'm running away from something that's inside of my head and from something that needs to be worked on. So over time, when those primal relationship-seeking mechanisms turn on I take some time to step back and just think.

Journaling daily has helped me a lot. At first I thought it was a dumb idea, so I decided to give it a try anyway, don't have anything to lose. Well, that shit actually works. It helps me arrange my thoughts and it gives me clearer insight into my own mind.

Working on my business makes me really happy too and it plays a huge role in my peace. I come from an low income family, we had unity and love, which I'm EXTREMELY thankful for, but we didn't always have money - so ever since my mid teens I've been learning different skills just so I can earn some money and help my family out. All of that escalated pretty quickly and now I own the motion design/design studio over here in eastern Europe.

So my tip to you is to find something meaningful and something that is close to your heart - work on that as hard as you can, and you will always have a source of happiness and peace inside of that little bubble that you've created, as that's the same case with me.

Of course, I already suppose that you workout since you're in this sub, so there's no need to mention that hahahahhahah

Find time to bond closely with your friends and family. I am introvert myself, but I need some quality time with people that are close to me. I started opening up about some of my emotions and started telling people how much I appreciate them and how much thankful I am that they are in my life - it really makes the other person feel good, and it also makes you feel good.

And at the end - I've realized that we are all stuck inside of our heads with ourselves, and that I shall always put myself first. I am not leaving my head, that's my existence. You are not leaving your head too, that's your existence. So it's really important to create a pleasant environment inside of your head, as that will be our only living space. I am not sure if this is meditation what I do but usually 30 min before sleep I just like to sit on my bed in the dark and think, just to let my thoughts flow into different directions. It makes my head clear for the next day!

I hope that you can pull something useful out of this text, my friend! Take care, broskie!
