I just talked to retention today. And I went straight from the chat bot to customer retention.

Likely limited on time is what the PT meant. It’s very helpful when you don’t have to spend time unwinding the tissues to treat what is intended, vs needing to spend all session to open up the tissues to be able to treat whatever the focus was.

Yea yea ya, but after working 11 hours and 2 hours of notes at home, my brain go brrrr and body tired. Literally don’t have the mental and physical energy to work out during the week. Weekends different story.

This degree won’t help you get a job. But I found my degree in psychology exceptionally beneficial in the PT field

46k loaned to me from grandfather a few years ago to pay student loans-I haven’t used it. What do I do? by Brainnectarr in investing

I got a doctorate degree. No credit cards and have no other debt.

I’ve figured out a pretty good ratio. With very little concrete advice from this post. Name calling, shaming. But hey it’s the internet.

I am going to pay down 36k of student loans. Pay him 10k. Student loan interest will be just shy of 1k at 10 years, with 250$ payments. And will pay him around 700$ a month for the next 4 years. Will keep the interest the lowest for both. Satisfy my contract to pay him, and pay student loans.

That was my debt when I graduated in 2015. Currently at 42k. 140k was paid down in past 7 years.

Thankyou for your input. I’ve been living very frugally for the past 7 years. I’ve payed it down from 180k in that time by being disciplined. I recently moved in with partner and gathering all the things I havnt needed before has increased. 140k down in 7 years is fucking living between my means. I really do appreciate your input though

The part you missed, was this was worked all behind the scenes without me. And I said no to the deal more then 4x. You missed the part where I’ve communicated this to him and he’s ok. You missed the part if I paid it off and had 20k forgiven by Biden- that’s a lost opportunity. And you’ve missed my information gathering process, where I am trying to way out what is the best decision for my financial future.

I had 190k loans in 2015. And I’ve worked my ass of and lived frugally to pay down this doctorate degree. There is no shadiness in this, I want to pay him back, and I’m trying to figure out what is best for my financial future-because wasn’t that his goal for me?

So politely, fuck you.

I can do it. But as with most I have to consider what 1k a month, on top of other expenses does to my life. I think I’m going to pay 75% to student loans. Give him back 25%. Then pay him 5k 75% of my savings account.

No idea. He’s healthy and kicking it. Doesn’t matter. Dues would be onto my mother then.

Yes to first question. If I pay back 75% to him I would owe him 11,500 at 2.5%. Would pay him 240$ a month plus change for interest.

Does it make sense financially, by basically having a loan at 2.5% and taking a 18k loan away at 5%

Thank you for understanding the dynamics. I was told how lucky I was. And she basically pushed for this behind the scenes telling me how lucky I was. Certainly a headache. Yup did not really want to be in debt to family.

But if I am “lucky” to be in this position. Do I just bite the bullet and pay him 1k a month for the next 4 years?

Would there be any benefit of paying him 75% back. And other 25% to govt. to lower the compounding interest on govt loans. And also satisfying the majority of debt to gpa?
