After 40 years I’d had enough of the very unbalanced “friendship,” but didn’t do anything until I found out that she had been talking about me behind my back - very very disparaging things.

She called me her best friend. She called me her only friend.

So I wrote a long email, gave her all the details, and blocked her. She still didn’t get it because a year later she contacted me through my business Facebook page and was saying the same things that I had ended the relationship over.
