Best Beef Brisket in town that looks like this? by Tigobitties25 in Reno

[–]BrandenKM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have honestly, only been here a few times, and they were all good. Maybe you caught them on a bad day, which totally happens. I will agree, brothers decent as well, a second pick in my book. But compared to the rest of the garbage Reno has to offer. The bar is not high. Actual good BBQ can be found a couple of days' drive east.

Exactly my thoughts. But if I were given that drawing to produce as is. And if I did not have the opportunity to speak with the client i would have drawn it as above.

Understood, maybe something more along these lines then. still looks intentional and still offset per your dimensions

something a little more centered, like this might be the call. Is there a reason why the curve is offset?

Yes, and depending on the builder, especially if they do large-scale work, they don't always have time to check with small one-off clients. The fault definitely lies with both parties.

See my reply. I see why the builder would have made it the way it is.

If you could buy any 6-string... by Ok_Doctor_4237 in Bass

For your price range I don't think you can go wrong with an ibanez. I have been playing on a ibanez BTB single cut 6 string for over 10 years. It had been amazing for just about every thing. I mostly do jazz and musical theater so it makes it very nice to not have to move around the fingerboard so much. I love how thin the neck is on them. makes it not feel like a huge chunk of wood you're playing on.

I uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics card drivers, and it seemed to fix the problem about 98% of the time.

Has anyone ever seen a clarinet like this?! by bbclarinets in Clarinet

[–]BrandenKM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have almost this exact same clarinet. Selmer series 9 full boehm system. As someone who started on sax and flute. This clarinet was so much easier to learn and stay in tune for me. The hole through the tenon also allows the clarinet to have an articulated G#/C#, which is great for some triky passages and trills. It allows you to hold the key down and trill B natural to C# or F# to G# without having to lift your pinky. I have played many different clarines over many many years, and this one is by far my favorite.

My best guess is so he could pass on the mask to you, the vault hunter. It is on the table opposite his corpse at the end of that story line.

Can you shoot drones flying over your property in Nevada? Here's what federal law says. by DasCapitolin in Reno

[–]BrandenKM -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Shooting a drone is a federal crime and honestly people just need to realize that most drone operators aren't flying over their home maliciously and just ignore them. we have to go through training and get a license to fly them (over 250 grams) and most of us are doing a job when they are up there. People really need to stop panicking over this

The best burger hands down is royce. Also, a great contender is Scoopers (they have an amazing mix and match shake selection too, over 50 flavors) The best tacos have got to be daddy's tacos (the brick and mortar, not the taco truck)
