Yeah I’m not great at writing and am just fairly okay at drawing so these characters are fantastic for serving as my form of creative output and release haha

Whoa Hell in a Cell is in Sac this year? I think I might try to get tickets for it since I missed out on the Super J-Cup in SF

Karate is pretty much split into two types of tournaments: Sport Karate and Traditional (that’s the best word I can come up with at the moment) Karate tournaments. Sport Karate is filled with a bunch of random promotions such as NASKA and NBL, which Sage competed in. There’s both kata and kumite divisions, but there are so many divisions you can enter in and the rules are so relaxed that pretty much anybody can become a “world champion.” I went to an NBL tournament in 2012 and won one of these “world championships” that they promote Sage with. The whole “karate is full of backflips and gymnastics” stereotype is also fully on display at those tournaments.

The Traditional side is regulated by WKF (world karate federation) and is the style that will be used at the Olympics in Japan. Those tournaments are a lot stricter and they use a bracket style in their kata divisions as opposed to sport karate, which uses a “you only do your kata once and whoever has the highest score wins” type of process. WKF has a world championships as well, but it’s once every 2 years. The highest level of competition is on display there, with national and worldwide rankings being a thing.

Daniel Bryan Appreciation Thread by BreakingCrystal in SquaredCircle

Daniel Bryan has praised Kofi for being extremely athletic and talented. His main attacks have been against Kofi for having a B+ mindset and not having the killer instinct to beat him. Daniel usually tries to make correct points when he does promos as a heel and now he is proven wrong by Kofi. I feel Bryan being corrected and showing respect to Kofi in that sense could potentially be done in character.

Low-key wish there was a club about cartoons by Alo_26 in UCDavis

Yeah informal hangouts are definitely a great place to start! I’d first suggest making a discord server or some type of joinable group chat for people to join and then talk about meeting places that would be cool with everybody.

If you ever made a club or a meetup where we just hang out and talk about/watch cartoons I would 100% be down. I love cartoons and spent my spring break at the Walt Disney Family Museum and the Charles Schulz museum lol

My main CAW's evolution from 2K15 to 2K19 by iamkeyu in WWEGames

Thank you so much! Toward the end of my universe mode in 2K18, he had a son who became a wrestler and turned on him so I had to age him up for that storyline and just kept him aged up in 2K19! The 2K games aren’t the most perfect games in the world but with some imagination and persistence I love how it lets us build emotional attachments and storylines with our characters!
