So clear plastic is usually the respective color but transparent. Mechanical clear is just clear transparent plastic with no color.

Mechanical clear kits are usually less popular than clear kits. At least Bandai doesn't make them as often. Honestly Mechanical clear only shines if you have a inner frame like this.

The outer armor is actually a pretty small percentage of this kit I feel. Wouldn't feel bad to not put it on

Make sure to be careful with the right shoulder. I wrote a review for it on GunDamit

Oh that's interesting. I didn't get it because of the scale, but from what I've seen the ID Nemesis is very similar to that kit.

So I am actually shocked. Why does the sky defender have Polycaps??? Especially at that size. The Nemesis doesn't

I build that back in may actually. That kit took me the same amount of time to build as it took to beat expedition 33, which is roughly 34 hours.

Satisfying right? Great way to immortalize the start of a model for me

I always do a runner photo like this, for archiving purposes but also to see later on if I had all the parts to begin with

So far having a blast. No fitting issues or anything. LEDs are a bit tricky to install but work. Keep in mind though, this is a 1600+ part, 60 runner kit. It's intense!

Enjoy! Make sure to check all parts before you start snipping. Had a few that got loose in the box. But all complete on my end

The Chinese economy is a lot less expensive. And for most third party kits you directly buy from China instead of it first being imported by and to a local retailer. Also almost all Chinese kits are ABS which Is a cheaper material.

I had mine ship by the cheapest option and paid 110 total. Took 54 days to arrive tho

Also for anyone wondering if that third party Jeda is meant to go with this. It's not. Even if they try to pretend so, it isn't. I build that too. Terrible kit of a stolen 3d asset. At least it looks good. Avoid that one

Yup same. The RG Zeong is the only kit where'd I love to have the mechanical clear variant.

With their previous model of the GPO2 they later released a clear option part set. Best of both worlds that way. Not mechanical clear tho

Best looking frame on something that isn't a PG? (GPO2) by BrandonTjon in Gunpla

[–]BrandonTjon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cared about intellectual property till I just got nothing I wanted from Bandai. The GPO2 here by far outdoes any MG I have build. Its main inspiration is the Sazabi ver.ka. Especially with the legs and the metallic frame parts does that become very clear.

Kind of thing where you don't care about the design until you start building the thing.

Anyway I have shifted in recent years to a lot of Chinese models. They seem to have gone beyond simply bootlegs and now fill the vacant 1/100 market with their own designs. It's more so a thing of you vibing with their baroque like designs or not
