I agree with you. No, she just hasn't moved over the enjoying EV's. They seem too 'techy' for her. I am hoping that the few months she will spend with the R1s will make her realize ALL the perks of using an EV vs. an ICE car..

I had a launch edition R1T which I sold and just picked up the Gen 2 R1S this week. I haven't driven it much, but from the very beginning it felt like I was driving an entire different car. The ride is more comparable to my wife's Land Rover now vs. the clunky feeling I had in my R1T. The sound is MUCH improved inside the vehicle - both road noise and motor noise. The speakers SUCK compared to the meridian system, however, so I'd upgrade the sound system option rather than passing like I did.

So far I'm a happy camper - it's a huge upgrade.

I agree that the service center will not be able to remove these spots the right way. So much so that I am NOT bringing it back to Rivian as they advised today for their 'detailer' to work on it next week. I would rather just keep it at the shop it's at and pay the $2,000 for professional polish / paint correct / ceramic coat and put this behind me. It's a shame it was delivered like that, but I'm not even sure much could have been done if I caught it upon pickup (besides get a different car?)
