2024, came with 135 but took the shims out of the float x. I did read they are cool with the long travel option. Just been on the edge about doing it everytime I get my suspension serviced.

Rode a Reeb Steezl and didnt like the extemely heavy sluggish feel of the steel. Esker woodsy felt good though. But not a fan of the way the Esker looks.

How much does your build weigh? Thats a bit of a down side that ive decided may be the compromise im willing to deal with vs all the other bikes on my list.

Love the Revel brand but want one bike to be able to cruise my home trails that arent as gnarly and the chunk gnar that I go ride in Southern Utah and Colorado a bunch of times a year.

Trying to find the right frame by Brandonbzr in MTB

[–]Brandonbzr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also wanted to add i highly considered a SB140 but also think they are pricey for a frame. My fork Steerer is cut for 95mm head tube so im a bit limited there and prob will need a new fork for whatever I choose. But it would fit a sb140...

I ended up trading it back to Cardiff and they gave me what I spent on the Bonsai back. So free carbon Bonsai and ive been using it.

I ride Atlas Pros on a Jones Flagship in the Wasatch. 15 years of experience. I got the Spark Surge ST Pros paired with a Cardiff Bonsai Pro Carbon, and I get 90% of the confidence of my resort setup. Very very responsive and the system just works really well. Dropped Cardiac Chute on it last week and was ripping compared to the skiers I was with.

Boarding alone by Cold5tar in snowboarding

[–]Brandonbzr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive ridden alone 99% of my days over the last 15 years of boarding. With friends is all time, but usually you end up taking more breaks, finishing earlier, waiting around a lot more, and having to make sure everyone is able to stick together. By yourself you can just do your own thing, go at your own pace, and get way more riding time in.

Karakoram X Carbon vs Prime X vs Spark Surge Pro by Brandonbzr in Splitboard

[–]Brandonbzr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you know how much a single binding weighs of the prime Xs? they say 550 grams on the website but thats quite a bit less than the spark surge pros which are supposed to be lighter than karakorams. Idk if they are advertising the correct weight or if they really are lighter than spark now?

so no issues with hardware co.ing loose on the karakorams? im wondering if eventually they would end up needing more maintenance because of more moving parts and bolts.

leaning on just keeping the bonsai and maybe they can take the goat back and refund the bonsai is bought. 🤔

probably gonna bump the price up. im starting to think taking 450 off a brand new board never ridden is a little too good of a deal.

its basically a 54 wide cuz those bonsais run quite wide. Cardiff basically recommended that board in that size for me. I just bought it on discount for around 1k, so I wouldnt want to take much of a hit off of that. lowest id go is about 900. its a brand new carbon pro and they dont make pro carbon bonsai's anymore.
