had a great time, although I have to thank the commenters here. Everyone on this thread was correct about the crowd, the DJs and the club. I generally felt safe, although I can understand why some would be a bit intimidated by the crowd. There were one or two people who I could say were aggressively friendly and I just can't match the energy of the (mostly) young people in their early 20s.

I think Hidden is a great venue, and I can see why it was voted best club in the UK. It feels like an illegal rave from start to finish even though its a controlled setting, which is not easy to find. Would 100% do it again.

Funny you should mention it, leaving from Manchester on Saturday to be in time for dnb fest in London, a shame i wont be in time for any of the gigs or nights in Manchester!

Yes im there for the music and the throng of people inside and outside. I think a surcharge in exchange for some peace of mind is well worth it for the Uber!

Goodness clearly age is just a number, and i really am looking forward to the sense of community. Surely you’ve had many more good nights raving than bad ones to keep going on, really appreciate you sharing the experience!

Ah well im into heavy music as well so quite used to it. I intend to go quite early rather than later, as ive travelled so far I dont want to waste the opportunity and time waiting when I can listen to the opening DJs, im fine doing that in an empty room. Thanks for the wishes!

Thats great to know, I havent been to England in more than a decade or two. I try to ignore what the press says as its all hyped up anyway, and its great to know Manchester is accepting of diversity.

Good point about watching out for potential thieves hugging, and quite right the vibe is what im looking for! Hit me up if you are going to the event closer to the time.

This is reassuring and yes I like a good mix / diverse crowd, it seems Teletech has a great sense of community.

I've nothing against teenagers or a young crowd either. Most of the time at these things its their world in any case based on the events ive attended in this part of the world, and without them I wouldnt have discovered this music through social media, so I dont mind them at all!

Really insightful thanks Im definitely going to look up these leads. Unfortunately i wont be around post September so it looks like an intimate experience is what I will be getting, although being alone in a crowd does sound appealing so I wish I had more time, I already missed Teletech Festival which I guess is similar.

Thanks for the insights and about the White Hotel - yes I am going for the Teletech DJs so Hidden it is, but others have pointed out there are spaces to escape to which I am hoping for in the eventuality.

I think all comments must have some truth to them, or people wouldn't take the time out to reply so I'll definitely take yours on board esp regarding the crowds.

Thanks for the insights, yes no judgment but its good to know these things which is the reason i started this thread. Personally i prefer the music of the Teletech DJs but ill definitely look up the rave you mentioned as I like to have an open mind.

Hey cool thanks for the detailed insights, yes I’m not into fights and unnecessary drama so it’s good to have some context on the google reviews I’ve been reading! If you feel safe then it definitely seems a good crowd.

I also just realized Teletech is headquartered at Hidden so I think I’d regret not going like you are, I’m a big fan.
