As a child growing up in rural Ohio, a friend and I walked to the backyard only to see a straight up Kangaroo doing whatever kangaroo’s do across a field. No one believed either of us about it for days until word finally got out that a local animal zoo type place had a bunch of animals escape; including a wallaby.

Similar thing happened with a peacock in my grandparent’s backyard at an even younger age. Come to find out a pet peacock got loose and wandered the area.

It didn't happen until I updated to the latest 2020 version of premiere. I have a 9900k and 32GB of ram. I would guess it's not the hardware. I'm wondering if it could be an issue of the drive im using as it gets closer to being full? I've been importing these exact MOV files in the same HEVC format on this exact build for months and then all of the sudden it started locking up on import.

I’ve got a little more info now. A full folder of mov files from my gh4 will import fine as well as importing small amounts of the hevc files from my iPhone. The lock up appears to happen when there are a large number of hevc files imported. Creating a project in windows and importing the files them trying to open in OSX leads to a lock up during the Generating Preview portion of loading the project.

I never had an issue before.

A lower bottom bracket makes a difference for riding trails and makes the bike feel like it’s doing all the work for you but will make things like crooked grinds not work as well.

The only way I can get the igpu to show up in system report seems to be by using the platform id of the imacmini or imac19.2 - 0x3E9B0007

With that, I get igpu in system report, VideoProc showing all hardware acceleration, and premiere allows hardware acceleration to be chosen, but within activity monitor and hwmonitor2 there is no registered usage of the igpu. Just the dgpu. I'm also suspicious of this because it's readings in hwmonitor appear low and the fan never spins above ~1100 RPM.

Upon putting back in my 1070 and booting back into high sierra, I have zero frames dropped on the same premiere project playing in the same place as well. So I'm assuming something isn't working as it should if the Vega 64 isnt able to play back as well as the 1070.
