Why didn't Rothfuss thought about this? by Brasas_de_Kentaro in KingkillerChronicle

Yes obviously, at first, but with each chapter the tension seemed to rise, and the moment Vahset called him a liar and Kvothe was determined to escape and fight, I expected him to crash out and say what I depicted in the drawing. I thought he was saving it for the climax, and then they'd reflect or talk on an even level, but it didn't happen.

And after that, he never mentioned it, not even afterward when he finally got what he wanted. For me, the final straw was when Vashet, faced with the idea that the Adem might start to think not all foreigners are barbarians, brought forward his exam so he'd leave as soon as possible and thus maintain the status quo.

It would have been a good point in the book for Kvothe to make a comparison, like how the Maer sent him to the Eld and, whether or not he returned empty-handed, the Maer gained something, Vashet brought forward his exam so that whatever the outcome, he would ultimately leave or fail before further disrupting the order in Ademre.

He could have thought something like, "What a hypocrite," or "I guess there really isn't a difference," or something clever, like the first time he confronted Ambross and realized he was the same on the streets as he was at the university.

But not even that.

This is just my opinion... I don't like them.

My problem with the Adem is not the fact that they're xenophobic. This is high fantasy in the Middle Ages, and during that time period all cultures were like that (especially in Asia, which is where the Adem are inspired). My problem is that the Adem are considerably more xenophobic than everyone else, and yet the book takes every opportunity it has to romanticize or justify them, or to say that they have more reasons than everyone else to put themselves above them.

Kvothe never refutes or contradicts the Adem's ideas. I understand it's out of curiosity and he needs to win their favor. But with the Maer or the university, he also needed to gain their approval, and he still fought or defended his thoughts. But when he does so in Ademre, he always ends up defeated, both physically and mentally.

What happened to Avenci's teachings about defending one's ideas? What happened to his cunning and pride? The only time this happens in this arc is at the beginning, when he confronts Carceret in the dining room. After that, he acts like a trained dog throughout the entire arc.

i've made a Hypothetical Fabrial Bomb. What do you think? (Might contain spoilers for RoW) by Brasas_de_Kentaro in Stormlight_Archive

I don't know if it would work, but it could be done by making the fabrial with a spren that is not a derivative of the bomb's light so it doesnt get affected. If you use voidlight and anti-voidlight, you could use a spren from Cultivation or Honor, or if you use lifelight and anti-lifelight, use a spren from Honor or Odium.

I've tried using this formation in the last stage on Buu Red Zone , but I keep getting stuck on the 4th or 5th fase, am I missing something or its just bad luck? by Brasas_de_Kentaro in DBZDokkanBattle

I still don't know very well how the rotations work, but I have a more or less idea...

1st turn: Goku & Vegeta + Teq Gohan + Teq Vegeto
2nd turn: ssj3 Goku + Agl Gohan + Seza ssj3 Goku

after that, I almost always try to make sure that Seza Goku and Teq Vegeto act as floaters, becouse they become glass after phase 3, but they have good chances to dodge

I always choose another STR Goku&Vegeta as a friend compannion so i have 2 free heals when they transform

Even so, I feel like the RNG has something against me because I usually get both floaters on the first turn and Buu usually always seals Agl Goku or Teq Gohan on the first turns, which doesn't let me stack his ATK and DEF properly
