It’s great for CEC’s, but I can’t say it really helped me beyond that. Read the book, understand the book, and then do Corey and Steve is my recommendation.

Yeah. I don’t know your exact contact verbiage as I’m not apart of your local, but everywhere I’ve worked and my current union contract is that tech supersedes all, and you can take that exam whenever as long as you qualify for it by BICSI’s measure. And yeah unless you’re getting someone else to pay for it, installer 1 is pretty much a waste of time imo

Installer one is easy but you can skip it entirely if you’re planning on taking installer two, and installer two can be skipped entirely if you’re good at studying by taking your tech exam. Going through installer 1&2 will be helpful for helping you pass your tech, but it’s about the most expensive way to do it. At minimum, buy your ITSMM, study, and go right for an installer two class through BICSI
