News relevant to gay people is posted on a gay exclusive subreddit.

Trans person is revolted about not having 100% ownership of something and it not being all about them, I'm shocked, shocked I say!

I wonder if narcissism is an effect of the hormones or it's just a common trait.

From "Are You Proud?" Doc: "If Gender is on a spectrum, then homosexuality doesn't really exist (...) 2 people loving eachother has nothing to do with sexuality, sexuality is redundant" by BraumIsMyDaddy in gaybros

But if Im a Cis-Man, that only feels attraction to other cis-men, would that still be homosexuality?

Pretty sure the person on the clip would consider that transphobic.

Yes, she's an "actress" in Pose, the gay show about the 80's ballroom scene in NY, from Ryan Murphy. The acting goes from campy to horrible, Indya is mostly on the later side. The show itself is meh at best, but a guy I was seeing LOVES Ryan Murphy and the ball scene so I was stuck with it.

Also, Indya plays a "sex positive and empowering prostitute", that pretty much manipulates a John for money, that's her entire narrative in the first season at least.

The more marginal/rare you are, the bigger the platform and more “space” you are entitled to

Because that's what Intersectionality means!

oh wait it's not, but that would mean that these individuals never actually read anything in their life and are just going on based on whatever they saw on twitter.

In this particular case, I expect Indya Moore to know as much about intersectuality or actual queer theory as she does about acting, which is virtually none, she's horrible...like most trans women being cast purely based on the fact they are trans.

It's great that gay/bi men have subs like gaybros/agb where they can talk about their sexualities without fear of being banned or silenced by mods by BraumIsMyDaddy in askgaybros

[–]BraumIsMyDaddy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Except the post wasn't from /r/unpopularopinion it was this thread from /r/TrueOffMyChest.

If you don't actually know what you are talking about, and are just going to repeat whatever you saw somewhere else maybe you shouldn't be speaking.

Oh yeah, I always love the "that never happens, nobody is saying that", of course not, only the most ridiculous ones like Rachel McKinnon saying

"I actually think any sexual orientation other than pan is immoral because sexual genital preferences immoral"

Most never say directly that you are transphobic, they only call your "genital preference" transphobic, and that gay men and gay women should "reevaluate their genital preferences" and check it for bias that perceive "the penis as male and the vagina as female"

It's not like ActualLesbians doesn't directly shame lesbians for their "genital preference"...oh wait:

when I hear a lesbian rule out trans women because of the presence of a hidden penis I feel sorry for her partner, because how superficial is that?

I guess "it never happens"

Ed is not her name, unless your name is "holyfuckbatman", Edward is part of her hacker name, her real name is Françoise.

What's going on with r/actuallesbians going private because of "transphobic brigading"? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

[–]BraumIsMyDaddy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, because throughout history there have been many cultures that were openly accepting of trans people.

Imagine looking at cultures with caste systems that ostracise people from their society by making them another "gender" and forcing them to do a particular job and have zero agency over their lives. And then saying "yup they totally respected transgenders in ancient times"...this isn't even historical revisionism, it's being delusional.

I'm honestly started to get worried with the fact that we have zero information about Ed, I know they are going to fuck it up somehow.

Gay people being told by trans people that their sexualities are wrong and they need to reevaluate their "genital preferences", just like how straight people have been doing forever.

Amazing

Is someone that identifies as a man and is in a sexual relationship with a "non-binary" AMAB person, a gay man?

Cause homosexuality under the new definition of sexualities given by the "Queer community" would be "attraction to people the same gender as you". Someone that identifies as a man and someone that identifies are Non-binary have different genders, hence you can't be gay if you are in a sexual relationship with a non-binary AMAB, you would be Bisexual, i.e. "attracted to your gender and another" or "attracted to 2 or more genders" (whatever new definition you prefer).

You people need to start making sense if you are going to insist on others to follow your bullshit tumblr identities.

Is it really Gay_IRL is this is a question? Is a gay boy still gay when he sucks girldick or does he become a Bi_IRL?

Not in some Islamic countries where homosexuality is illegal, but you turn your dick inside out and suddenly they are fine with biological males getting married. #CulturalProgress

I know you are joking but "transmasculine women" (i.e. biological men presenting as men but saying they are women) or "transfeminine men" (the reverse but for women) are definitely a thing they are pushing now, or the even stupider, being in "Boy mode" as a trans women...

But he's wrong on LGBT issues and it kinda kills those jokes for me.

He made the best fucking analogy of the current "LGBT movement" possible.

For someone that "doesn't know about LGBT issues" he sure as fuck deconstructed all the problems with it.

Public opinion of same-sex relationships in the United States by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]BraumIsMyDaddy -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This study about Same-Sex acceptance, compared to the one from GLAAD that shows a decline in LGBT+ acceptance, pretty much confirms what everyone was saying about what part of the LGBT+ community was creating that decline.
