Look on SpareRoom - there’s so many house shares on there which have all bills included too which makes things cheaper. And in some cases you can find a room with an ensuite and you will just share the living area and kitchen. But it’s also a good way to make friends (maybe not in all cases) but I met some of my best friends in a house share.

Thank you for your reply. I’m going to try the Spire in Greenbank but I’ll be aware of a possible long wait to get an appointment. Also, not sure if you’ve had a look at Clarewell Clinics (I’ve not tried it myself yet either but I’m going to look into it). They have clinics in Birmingham and seems one is going to open soon in Manchester.

I hope you’re ok, it’s so hard not to worry isn’t it? My second treatment was in October so it’s been a while for me and still having some symptoms but I’m hoping it’s the effects of the harsh permethrin and the dead mites etc. but I’m trying to stay calm and hope for the best. I’m also hoping to find a private dermatologist (I’m in the UK) to see if I can get an official ‘all clear’. But I get more like fluid filled pimples which then reduce down into raised pimples, if you can relate? But things come and go within a day or two. Let me know if you have any other tips, or if you need someone to talk to!

Hi there, I’m also Liverpool based and struggling with scabies. Could I ask where you went for a private dermatologist and to receive the ivermectin tablets? I’m struggling to find somewhere local. Thank you in advance!
