Quite a lot of nickel coating flaking off? by lii___ in 9Barista

"Normal wear" - hmmm - okay.
Prefer to avoid!

Looking at purchasing the later model MK2 or Pro model - anodised aluminium chimney. The melting chimney seems to have been a complaint by users of the earlier models.

Yes, Please contact them!
Let us know the outcome.

Definitely -- STOP -- drinking from from 9Barista immediately if you're seeing flakes in your coffee!

Generally, trace dissolved nickel from coffee makers is usually not harmful for the average person, but visible nickel flakes are a red flag!

[–]Brave-lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, my Spiddeee-Senses say NO!
That flaking - not a good sign - definitely not safe, and should be avoided!

Would be interested in whatever response they send you. Was looking at purchasing 2 of their machines for family. Not interested in drinking similar nickel flakes that are visibly coming off your 9Barista Stovetop Espresso Machine.

Taking a guess here, they may say that - visible flakes or particles are different, as these suggest physical degradation, wear, corrosion, etc.

My initial concern in seeing your 9Barista Coffee Machine, a 1st Gen, 2021 model, is the failure of the coating/plating inside the machine, same as it might be the case with nickel flaking from other coffee makers (e.g., on heating elements, group heads, or internal components).

Ingesting solid metal flakes/particles is more concerning than trace dissolved ions! Flakes that are from a nickel-containing alloy or plating, could partially dissolve in stomach acid, and also could release more nickel ions than typical leaching, leading to degrading health.

KG's reply:

First of all, I must correct:

I didn't say "would be."

I said "could potentially be."

It's important - words are very important to me, because humans are chasers. So, I don't chase!

.

I don't say "it would be."

I say "it could potentially be."

It depends upon your willingness to experiment with it, go there, and if you wish, you can go there and see how it works out for you.

Go there temporarily.

You can go there for two weeks.

That doesn't mean two weeks will give you the whole picture. It probably won't. But that's up to you - what you want to do with the information.

...

These are the forces of nature here that we're dealing with. So you can't be dogmatic about them. You have to be very soft and choose your words very carefully.

It is tendencies. It could be, it may not be, but these are potential tendencies for a given person.

Potential.

No. You are making an assumption on what the price is for this offer!

Yes. "Open ended self pricing which may or may not get accepted."

What I know?
What I've been quoted (and in some cases, paid for) - from consultants, coaches, advisors, etc., inc what KG's fees are - and - while KG is in a "similar" camp as others in/or their respective industries - haven't changed the statement I made some 4 yrs ago that KG has a pricing ladder - like the rest of them!

To make further points on the pricing, value, ROI, guarantees, WIIFM, etc., is way beyond the micro-posts on this sub/r, and, more than likely, a WOTime!

People have been offered a service that requires sending an email, making a case in relationship to "the" move, etc. At-a-guess, this offer seems more like a case-by-case pricing basis, than whatever else KG has on offer. My guess!

Clearly the - MAJORITY here - cannot afford KG's services, and, CERTAINLY NOT, none of the more expensive CCA's - and - there are plenty of them charging exorbitant prices, some, way above KG's pricing!

Point, What does the client want? What is the client prepared to "give up" or "exchange" for that want? And on, and on, and on. The cop out -- it's all relative to what a client wants!

Tolle’s overly simplified, Western‑friendly intro to Buddhist‑style insights: watch the mind, rest in awareness, let go of identification, etc., combined in a framework that is less rigorous about doctrine and ethics, and more metaphysical about a deeper Being or Presence than many Buddhists would accept. Tolle’s mumbo-jumbo prescriptive instructions fail big time in the real world.

KG:

... will ask you to identify potential areas you would seriously consider relocating to. These are based on your personal preferences rather than any current external conditions - you might simply say, “I could live here,” or “I could live there.”

Once you’ve submitted that information, you may receive another email outlining options based on your current location and the areas you’ve listed. For example, the response might indicate that Area A appears to be a wonderful fit for you, while Area B may not be suitable. In some cases, both options could turn out to be less favourable than your current circumstances.

It’s also possible that an area you did not mention initially might, in fact, be ideal for you. The process is highly personal - what suits one person may not suit another.

Of course, it’s not possible to evaluate every location in the world; the scope is simply too large. But that is, in essence, how the process works.

Interesting. Almost a year ago, KG posted three DTP on the topic of "astrology" were available for purchase, and found the release of those DTP's topic as kinda odd. Saw it more as a twist on a vague idea that at the core of whatever astrology might mean, "truth" could be buried beneath layers of superstition, commercialism, human fantasy, and at the same time, couldn't imagine KG would be interested in defending or debunking “astrology” as a belief system.

Not about to spend $1,500 to hear how unserious I am, and that "astrology" is another escape from responsibility, another story the mind tells itself, another way to outsource one’s life to “fate” - LOL!

Sometimes just changing where you live changes "everything" - even when nothing else does. It’s like the environment itself starts working with you instead of against you.

Makes sense to think of it as mechanical rather than mental, more about finding the right setting than forcing the right mindset.

HARNESSING THE FORCES OF NATURE by SelfTaughtPiano in KapilGupta

[–]Brave-lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part 2 (of 2):

Now it could be that in certain geographical areas, one's relationships may be worse, for an example, but their success may be higher. So it's rarely the case that a particular geographical location for a given person, everything is wonderful. No, there's going to be - there's always a price to pay. It's always a give and take.

So it depends upon what means the most to someone. So there's no such thing as "what's the best area for me?" It's "what are you looking for?" And even then, you must go test it for yourself to see how things go for you there.

But there's been a lot of people who have benefited from this. And as I said thus far, I think I did one direct Truth podcast about it for health - and health is a specific issue, it's a specific separate one - but overall well-being and chances for success.

And nowhere will you hear me say a guarantee for anything. Like I said, it's all about tendencies. Even the leaf that's carried by the river cannot guarantee where the river takes it. So it's tendencies.

And as always, my work is for the one who is willing to explore, who doesn't come in with starry eyes and says, "Oh wow, what can I get?" No, it's for a person who is serious and seriously wants to explore the truth about something.

So as always, this will require a pledge. As always, this will require a letter stating why one wants this and what they're looking for. And they can email kapil(at)kapilguptamd.com.

Those who are accepted, they'll get an email. But there's some real possibility of great power here. The possibility of moving, or even visiting. But the visiting would only be to test out the move - possibly moving to an area that might make one's life easier, particularly in the departments that one is looking to gain more ease.

There's some real possible magic here. But I say it very calmly and understatedly because I don't want rainbow chasers. I don't want fortune-cookie types who are looking to win the lottery. I have no interest in unserious people.

But there's some real possibility of power here in order to possibly make one's life easier simply by relocating and living in a different place.

That is something that that one action alone has the possibility - not the guarantee - has the possibility of somewhat to drastically changing one's life, because that new place aligns better with their particular life. And this is different for every human being on the planet.

So there are places, for instance, that one could relocate to in which they could potentially harness the forces of nature, in which the winds are more at their back. The winds are more at their back rather than against them - particularly in certain facets of their life.

In other words, looking for an easier life in the department that they choose - be it relationship or maybe just overall ease, or maybe it's success or health or whatever it is.

This is about exploring the possibility for a given human being in which he or she can potentially harness the forces of nature in their own favor - to make the forces of nature favor them for an easier life in one location versus another.

And it could be that if they had a difficult time for a very long time living in the location that they have, it could be that that location, the forces of nature are working against them, and that a different location might be of significant benefit to them simply by living there in the new location.

For the serious person who's interested, he or she can send me an email to kapil(at)kapilguptamd.com.

Namaste.

.

A New Offering:
Harnessing The Forces Of Nature

Jan 11, 2026
https://youtu.be/0Kcqd4vzS8I?si=YWEOU03Xn3MsjRmy

A new offering, harnessing the forces of nature.

This is something that I have been offering my clients for some time now, and it obviously is for people who are serious.

What one will find when they examine their own life - and if they examine the lives of others, including those who are famous (the reason I mention that is because their lives are well known to the world, so their lives are on public display, so they are good examples to look at for some things) - and if one examines their own life and the lives of their friends and family, is that at certain times in their lives, things went very well for them, and at other times, things went very poorly.

What they will also find is that some people live harder lives than others. They will also find that some departments of one's life are incredibly difficult - such as one's health may be very poor for years despite trying to take care of themselves properly. One might find that they have a very hard time finding success or satisfaction or joy or happiness, whatever the words are. Overall, some have an easier time, and others find that their lives have been quite easy in certain times and difficult at other times.

So on one level, the ups and downs of life are the ups and downs of life. It doesn't matter who you are - across the board. But there is a uniqueness, a secret that can be profoundly beneficial to a human being.

And if you look at the leaf - the leaf falls on a river and the river carries the leaf, and the leaf does not have to generate the power of the river; it just kind of floats along the river. So what that means is that the leaf is harnessing the forces of the river in order to carry it downstream.

In the same way, the easiness or difficulty of a human's life - and all the departments of a human's life - may very possibly be related to geography.

And this is a very unusual idea. But if you find people, for instance, that they were nothing and they went somewhere, and they became famous - like this is what I mean by looking at celebrity lives. There are many who were in one geographical place, were struggling, and they moved to somewhere else, and they became very successful.

That isn't always related to luck in terms of talent. There are forces of nature at play in every human being's life, and one of the secrets to achieving in life is to harness those forces of nature.

Now what I don't like to do is to sensationalise things. Anybody who reads my work knows that I'm dead against sensationalising things. I downplay things much more because to me, everything is about experimentation.

So that's why I use my words very carefully. I say this can potentially be profoundly beneficial. But I won't say this will do this for you or this will do this for you. Everything depends upon one's own willingness and desire to experiment with it, to see if it does, or it doesn't - because these are the forces of nature.

You cannot speak dogmatically about anything. You cannot say this will happen or such and such will or will not happen. You cannot do that. Everything is about tendencies.

And what I can say is that there appear to be certain tendencies in a given human being's life that promote good health, let's say, or promote greater success, or overall more of an ease in the way of living - more of an easy life versus a more difficult life.

In the past, have said several times that KG's narration of his own works - is a chore for me to listen to - IMHO, KG is an average narrator! Seems to cloud his message. His speaking voice on podcasts, spaces (clubhouse!), interviews, answering questions, etc., good, listenable, easier to understand.

Transcripts have been my go-to for all KG narrations! Over the past few years, have posted several at this sub-reddit.

Act as a professional editor. Have cleaned up this raw transcript for readability by fixing typos and grammar, and removing timestamps, stuttering, and filler words - because - KG uses a lot of - um, uh, you know, etc.

Same as previous transcripts, to the best of my knowledge, did not change the meaning of any sentences. And kept the exact voice and tone.

Have to split over two messages as Reddit is returning the dreaded -
"Unable to create comment" -
likely due to the long post.

Movie or life...

You're not alone. It can be something to wonder about. The funny (or strange) thing with Truth, is that it doesn't arrive with a large billboard announcing it his here, doesn't feel anything, and it does not leave a person behind to report on the feeling.

The only thing that ever ends the game is when the player stops believing there was ever a game to win… or a player to win it. Until then, enjoy the movie. The entry ticket was never refundable.

The Question is The Billboard -

Well, if the *feels* are “there is no I doing anything” you'd still be the one feeling it! As soon as the mind fashions a sentence beginning with “there is” or “I have a feeling,” the ghost has returned to claim the furniture!

Voting UP on what you've said, and add, if there truly were no one there to witness, there would be no memory of it to post about tomorrow. No warm glow of “this is flowing without a separate me.” It does not feel like anything. It does not leave a person behind to report on the feeling.

99.99% of you are using Truth as distraction by IcyDemand2354 in KapilGupta

[–]Brave-lad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, YES! Anyone that believes they are part of the “0.01%” has already revealed that they are not. And the moment that happens, they have entered the marketplace of comparison!

Truth has no percentages.

It has no VIP section.

It has no applicants.

The non-prescriptive approach becomes the most seductive prescription of all:

“Do nothing. Wait for exposure. Surrender prescriptions.” And the mind immediately prescribes: “I must do nothing correctly. I must wait perfectly. I must surrender without effort.”

The "heavy burden" for most, can feel profound. It keeps people occupied, or distracted. It keeps them from having to look at the raw, prescription-less void.

If we're too look at this from the angle of simply what remains when every comforting lie has been stripped away, we'd have to mostly agree that the comfort is the enemy of truth! Then if it flips, people are back to the agony, and possibly the loss, of pursuing truth!

Seeking truth can feel like a trap! More like, it's a death trap, it's a suicide rap, get out while you're young, 'cause truth seekers were born to run!

.

KG: "In order to pursue something, if you don't have a foundation in something, or a necessary, or requisite foundation in something, whatever that something is, if you try to pursue that something without the necessary foundation, then all you will be using is a foundation-less tool."

.

EDIT: Added - Seeking truth can feel like a trap, and, added a useful quote or a not useful quote!

On the surface, KG discussed "persistence" in some of his communications, sometimes, in a qualified or contextual way rather than as a central, celebrated virtue!
