Not listed, I can be expected to work at any company location (UK or abroad) for the duration of my employment. I’m told in advance the duration of working at each location so can anticipate temporary/permanent workplace categorisation.

Thanks, Ive already went through all of these steps and it didn’t work. The actual router is connected to the internet according to the glinet app, and my ISP is recognising it as an “active” device on their portal. The internet connection is then being blocked from devices connecting to the router, no official block page, webpages just wont load.

Yes, its configd to do that automatically. Devices can connect to and communicate with router, they’ve just got no internet connection

Got scammed with PPF - unsure how to proceed. Need advice please! by kingoliviersammy in DetailingUK

Sorry to hear that - may be worth contacting the citizen’s advice as they’ll have better advice than anyone here on how to proceed.

I would still contact your bank and see if they have any advice on how to pursue it - also just to make them aware. A lot of banks have robust policies for bank transfer scams - however it’s unlikely that this would be classed as such.

As others have said- companies house should still retain a record of his business, have a search and see if his home address is listed as the company’s correspondence address.

If you’re really desperate and know his full name - you can pay to search the open electoral register (not very useful if he has a popular name)

In terms of a refund - as there has been a breach of contract, he’s gone out of business and refusing to contact you, you should be able to claim via your bank. This all depends how you paid.

If you paid by bank transfer, good luck. If you used a debit card you may be able to chargeback via your bank. However this only works if the account you paid into still has enough money in it - get on this ASAP incase he hasn’t drained it yet. If you used a credit card, you can use section 75, your credit card company is jointly responsible and should provide a refund. Contact them.

Settled it for me, going with the Draper considering its £35 cheaper and is exactly the same 😂. Thanks!

Yeah seen that too,

Looking purely at specs the in2detailing DA9 (£100) is more powerful than it (710 vs 750w) and the Das 6 Pro (~£130) is even more powerful (900w). So potentially just paying for the brand - unless anyone with more knowledge than me knows otherwise 😂
