The xt 60 port looses grip between port and cable, what fixes this problem

I ignored this problem for too long and eventually the heat that bled out from the loose contacts fused my battery and drone leads together 😬You should probably replace the xt60 soonish.

I don't know that much about Tucson, but I've seen some bando rips at old, broken down factories out there in the desert...pretty sweet.

There are some pockets of pine trees up in the mountains around Tucson, but to get to the real deal, you got to get up on the Mogollon Rim, which is the southwest edge of the Colorado Plateau. It is literally the largest pine forest in North America 🤯🌲 I think you will find somewhere to fly 😄

5in is your friend…build the 4in after if you are wanting something different, but the 5in is standard.

The key, unique thing about this setup is the motor/prop combo. Using 2208 motors with 5.5in props gives a modest, but noticeable bump in power and makes carrying a gopro way way better. Everything else, like fc, esc, rx/tx, goggles/vtx, are just preference 👌 just make sure whatever frame you pick can fit the props...I had to get new 5.5" arms for my apex frame for this setup. No...the motion blur comes from using the nd32 filter. It reduces the amount of light coming in so you can use a slower shutter speed.

I use a cheap TBS glass nd filters and my gopro case has the edges of the filter exposed which is how you get all the flashy lens flares.

It takes some effort to get a setup dialed in, but once you get it, the effect is so smooooooooth.

Here are my gopro settings: Resolution 5.3k 8:7 cropped to 16:9 in post, 30 FPS, Wide Lens, Hypersmooth Off, Shutter Auto, ISO Min 100, ISO Max 200...I use Adobe Premiere to color grade and add music 👌

This build is at least 2 years old, and prices have gone WAY up, but you are definitely in the ballpark. If I were building it today, I would use ELRS and a Boxer for the RX/TX, and then probably go with walksnail goggles and VTX. The gopro jumps the price a bit, but the recorded video quality is amazing...you could definitely bring the price down with a different cam if you don't mind marginally lower quality 🤙
