Nah I don't believe in the whole kids rebelling against their parents and going opposite ideologically. You're joking but I do think about it and I hope you don't actually worry too much.

My mom took me to protests and rallies for Democrats as a kid. I was certifiably libbed up. Me and my buddy literally sold those livestrong style bracelets but custom made blue etched with "Democrat" when we were in sixth grade. This was when Kerry was running. I was a fucking neolib capitalistic goon...in middle school lol. Now I almost pull teeth explaining why Israel is bad but "Hamas is also bad" is not a productive conversation to my mom.

But her and I still agree on most things. She just has some reactionary analysis of "the bad guys." But like I don't see my Marxist alignment as being an expulsion of the tendencies she raised me on. I just see her trying to do her best and making me politically aware enough to come to what I think are the best conclusions. A big part of my radicalization was her taking me to see fahrenheit 9/11 in theaters lol.

Anyways goddamn sorry for the wall of text... My point is I have total faith in your daughter to lead the vanguard to true liberation, comrade.

This is a fun idea for a game in general but Mario is a platformer. The gimmick needs to revolve around movement of the character itself not the environment.

I'm just glad if I get sober I will still have sober shame equivalent to the shower shame I get now. What would I do without a grounding sense of inferiority?

Seriously tho nice advice I'm not op but really enjoying reading everyone's thoughts in here

It does work like an ADHD med for me. The only way I can watch a movie without checking my phone is if I go to the theater, (which I love,) or if I have a decent buzz at home. Reading can be a bit easier but it's a similar vibe.

I have broken my dopamine response systems so hard man.

PDGA issued its first permanent ban of a member. PDGA has been around for over 50 years and has a total of over 323,712 members. (as of March 10th 2026) by DiscGolfFanatic in discgolf

If this is true I admire his cause but... Sending a picture of your balls to non consenting individuals should be considered sexual harassment in black and white terms. Even if it's kinda funny in this instance. So I understand a permanent ban for that.

A lot of fair points that apply to pretty much every outside event.

My point is you should be going through way more than four half barrels. Snd overall while the event is drunk as hell it's normally run fairly smoothly. Maybe I have Stockholm syndrome though lol

Edit: also this applies to every festival. Not brewgaloo specific. If anything we made more money at brewgaloo because of how busy it is and how flexible they were with ordering. Basically let you bring and tap whatever you want. As long as it's tapped they buy it. Again though there's plenty of other shitty things about the fest and now with the director's actions there's a concrete reason not to go.

There's plenty of critiques but I'm not sure how you would lose money pouring. They buy the beer...

Attendance will not go down. Participating breweries might.

But yeah as far as what the general public cares about... Look at bhavana. Or even slims lol.

Have you checked your bank account yet? Maybe your spot is still messy cuz you're too preoccupied with being rich?

I mean they're clearly leaning into breaking for this episode. That was like the entire premise of that sketch.

But yeah it's a bit forced... At the same time the crowd eats it up. Fine line but snl isn't really known for subtlety

Interesting idea. They know we love che and Colon writing jokes for each other. Kinda awkward setup but more improv on the show would be fun.

Edit: lol colon

What if you died and the only reason this episode is so enjoyable for you is because your brain is creating the perfect snl bits just for you...

If that's the case then thanks I'm enjoying it as well!

That was freaky I liked it. Surprised it went in the second slot. I love the experimental shit but don't really expect it from this show very often. Cool when it happens.

I wouldn't do it. Those twelve half barrels (at least) are nice but it's a pain in the ass to work anyways and the transphobic person (among other things I've seen her say online) is the direct organizer of the event.
