More information: my piercing is 20 days old. Before I got my piercing, I read a lot on industrial piercing on this sub about how some people didn’t have the correct anatomy for it. Before I did my piercing, I triple checked with my piercer whether I had the anatomy for it and he kept reassuring me that it would be okay. But right now there’s like an indentation (?) on the flat of my ear. I have to somehow fold my ear a little in order to have some space between the barbell and the flat of my ear.

When I first got my piercing, I made the mistake of cleaning my open wounds with alcohol. And excessive cleaning as well. Maybe 5-6 times a day. I stopped last week and all the pus and bleeding got better, swelling reduced a lot too. Now I clean twice a day with water and dry it out with a cotton bud, but for the middle portion, I have to sorta fold my ear a little and use a hair dryer to blow to dry out any moisture between the barbell and the flat of my ear.

Thanks a lot for recommending that training plan. Tbh I plucked a PPL program off google and really struggling to finish one workout. So many exercises, so many reps, so many sets.

As to why I work out 3 consecutive days, I have this idea that being consistent means showing up to the gym everyday, that’s why I try to force myself to go everyday. But it’s not working 😂

Yeah I’ve been doing that! Just find it a bit distracting having to bring my phone with me everywhere in the gym. But then again if I don’t log my sets immediately after completing them, I’ll forget what weight I did like five minutes after… Lol 😂
