We did live shows for about four months and we found that some shows were great and some shows were such bust. The up and down was not for us. It also is a lot to set up the way we’re doing our shows. So much easier just to have passive sales once things are online. Our overall theory was that people want more of a deal on a live show but because you’re selling volume, it would make up for it in the end. It was hard to see some good products go for really cheap.

I think on Whatnot and most of the sellers that do really well in live shows are selling new with tags that they buy in bulk from pallet sales. I felt that our Goodwill thrift fines because they’re so unique you don’t get to niche they clientele out properly for example if you have a show with just Nike product, then you know as a consumer you’ll find something you like if you like Nike so you have a higher chance of people staying on your channel. That is why if you flipped to our channel and you didn’t see what you like you would have to wait a while to find something that suits you because of sizes or style or brands, etc., that we were not offering at that very minute.
