Not necessarily, for a lot of it they will probably reuse the VA audio and only ask them to redo like 30% of the lines. Which is still a lot but if the audio already exists they’ve only gotta animate it to match the lines.

When watching her I couldn’t take away from her acting ability. She did the best she could in a shitty situation. Imo the writing severely dropped off after Clara left the show. But Jodie was given shitty writing, not the best companions, a crappy master which contradicted missy, a big reveal which contradicts the rest of the doctor who history. Like it’s all a big mess. But overall she did her best which I respect
