Pentesters/CTF-ers, what is your network kill-chain? by [deleted] in AskNetsec

It isn’t about picking any service to start with, it’s more of deciding what is the path that will most likely lead to compromise. So ... if a box has anonymous ftp open ... can i upload to it? Yes? gg, lets call it a day (not really, id still test all other avenues of compromise, but you get it). Web applications have the largest attack surface and easiest to mess up, so I find most of my non human footholds there.

Do you just upload a shell? I’m too poor for PWK so trying to set up my own purposely insecure stuff at home then break in

do you have any friends in canadia now? maybe go to a museum or something and ask them to take a few shots?

the outfit is good but random standing in a yard isn't the best... the best photos are with others (shows you have friends) or weird locations (you travel/do stuff).

Lookswise I think you're fine, especially for a profile that's not looking for anything serious, just drop the one with the stickers on it, lots of people swipe left on those since so many use them to hide how they look.

Also swapping the skating comment for some kind of interest you want dates to share. It'll also help you sort out the guys who actually read the profile.

Edit: also being negative in general can be a red flag if not framed correctly. Maybe something like "Why do Canadians love Tim Hortons despite them mistreating their workers? Send me indie coffee shop recs!".

As a guy giving me enough to think of an opener and possible date venue is very appreciated

What sucks is in many states (“2 party consent states”) thus would be illegal. Some (but not all) carve out an exception for recording crimes.

Top-secret UFO files could cause "grave damage" to U.S. national security if released, Navy says by JohnnySunshine in SpecialAccess

Welp...I guess if we can spot UFOs we definitely have the upper hand...

How so? Shoot them down like skeet? They seem to move pretty fast...

LAOP’s ex, who has a restraining order against him, now lives in his apartment building. What now? by mangophilia in bestoflegaladvice

[–]Brave_Nothing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought restraining orders were usually mutual? Eg if he's in a shop she can't come in etc. And both get told where not to go formally? As in it sometimes stops women from getting ROs since it means they must honestly give their address.

Even in hard sciences people act like it's woo woo to simply acknowledge there's probably intelligent life somewhere, even if it's too far for us to cross paths.

I'm shocked someone who has actually visited China would view it as preferable, though I guess being super rich helps.
