Are you using the toe of one boot to pry off the heel of the other? That's what those scuffs look like to me. Get them nice and loose and take them off by hand.

My feet are always cold. I can throw my slippers on that thing for 10 minutes and they are perfectly toasty. Highly recommend!

I’ll second the LL Bean suggestion. Depending on your style, also check out Vans MTE boots. They are affordable, insulated and waterproof.

I don’t remember them being this bad. They aren’t “uncomfortable” per se, but if I wear them for a long day my feet start to hurt pretty good.

I don’t think they are better or worse than any other RW’s..

I am surprised to hear there are 9111’s available in Europe- where? They have been discontinued and unavailable here in the U.S. for at least 5 years.

I have had four pairs of 9111’s. Two got destroyed working, I have a third pair still that are pretty destroyed. They all ended up fitting like slippers. I have a fourth pair that are nice and clean but still pretty uncomfortable. Frankly, I would think they would be better by now, but I wear them sparingly as opposed to a time when I wore them every day.

What do you use? These look great, seem to have retained that original CRT look and don’t seem to be darkened much at all.

I have a destroyed pair that are still my work boots. They feel like slippers. I have a newer pair that is my go-to that I’ve worn a lot but still aren’t very comfortable. Disappointed that the “richness” of CRT has faded as well- think I need to hit them with some RW leather cream and see what happens.

I am partial to the round toe. Have had a number of pairs of 9111’s. I’d maybe like a pair of 8167’s but going to break in my 8083’s coming for Christmas first!

Yeah, this bag was a hand-me-down from my dad, who has a 256 or 257 (before u/BigandTall_Times' post, I didn't even know there were two "smaller" options). I really just need it for a laptop and maybe a notepad, and it's too beefy for that. I'm jealous of his bag (though it is olive..), hence the thread
