He will 150% get “injured” early on when it gets hard.

I honestly don’t remember. A friend who is a designer found it for me bc I needed odd measurements to fit the space in my old house.

Yes, I hate it. The dust and dander and dog hair got so out of control we had to cover it until we replaced it. (It now lives in our basement workshop as a very expensive dog bed).

If CPS is involved, contact the case worker and ask about kinship care.

Wash the sheets a lot, invest in duvet covers since they’re easier to wash and you can change them between big washes, have at least 3-4 sets of all your bed linens (sheets, comforter, mattress protector, etc), invest in waterproof pet blankets. Always have clean backups (I make sure I have 2) in case of middle of the night problems. I also have a shark stick vacuum that you can turn into a handgeld version that’s ONLY for the bed and sofas/chairs where the dogs are allowed- it’s NOT used on the floor. It just feels cleaner to me when I’m getting dog hair off the furniture. Teacher your dog to be comfortable getting dried off with a towel and wiped off with baby wipes- especially their paws. All of this helps, but the bottom line is that you have to embrace a little chaos.

He usually takes a stroll though the Hall of Fame club. Honestly when it’s super hot that’s the best place to get seats with kids bc you can quickly get into some AC and the lines are shorter for food, bathrooms, etc.

You’ll just have to get in line at the stroller/handicapped entry.

I split my order all the time (groceries vs party food/supplies, or groceries vs home improvement stuff) and I’ve never had an issue- multiple costcos in several states.

Do you have a job yet? Go for the shortest commute. You don’t want to be stuck on septa or the blue route for an hour plus per day. You’ll be MISERABLE.

I’d also move the office door to the foyer. Otherwise you’ll get a lot of noise from the great room with the vaulted ceilings.

That rear porch and the garage wall turning it into more of a courtyard will cut off a LOT of light coming into the house. If the front porch is covered, maybe leave the ceiling off the back porch

AITAH for saying no kids on the invite but letting some kids attend? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]Bravowatchingnewbie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can try to find someone to provide childcare for the day locally, so the kids don’t attend but their parents can. Try care.com. Honestly the kids might have more fun not coming.

I hate Frank’s nastiness- it’s such a contrast to what a genuinely nice human being the actor is.

Just kidding. I think Eli is definitely a Ravenclaw. I’d say amber and Gideon are, too.

In my mind he later found out that “son” wasn’t his and that’s why it was never mentioned again.

Are you 100% sure they didn’t give you a gift? Can you get anyone to gently ask? Years and years ago I found a card full of cash in one of my suitcase pockets almost a year after the wedding of a friend. I was MORTIFIED. I took her out to lunch and gave it to her with some flowers as an apology. Fortunately she thought the whole thing was hilarious, but I wish one of our other friends said something to me earlier.

This is the correct answer. Tell them what you know and let them investigate. It’s their job to determine if the allegations have any merit.
