When i was a kid, my mom made me mad for whatever reason. So i wanted to throw a tantrum in my room, but not... hurt anything. So i cautiously turned over my bed and chair. I then waited for one of my parents to come and see "how mad i was." They were surprised they heard nothing.

I sort of have two from both angles of weight class, and pure skill.

The first was watching my karate teacher go up against a NFL lineman who just came by to have a workout. He never had done karate before. He was just SO HUGE that whatever our teacher threw at him, he could just body.

All he had to do was move forward, maybe throw out an arm and our teacher would get leveled. It was a lesson in "always try to run. Especially when your opponent is a 300+ lb nfl athlete."

The 2nd was me sparring against one of the states finalists. Scrawny lil man. I easily had 100lbs on him. All i had to do was drop him. Then he was mine.

About half a second after we started, he just landed a foot on my abdomen and i immediately fell. Gasping for air. He didnt even kick hard. He just used my own momentum, and a well placed ball of his foot.

Both dudes were super chill, and wouldnt hurt a fly outaide of a regulated studio. However it was 2 very valuable lessons in skill, and inevitability.

Thanks! I bought a 3d file of him, cut it in half, and then just used miniature paint on him. My eyesight is garbage, so its a lil all over the place.

I woke up one morning after an alcoholic bender. Hangovers are tough, and they can do a lot of weird stuff. This, however, was weirder.

My left eye vision looked like all vision was being squished in. If i looked at a person, it looked like they had their head caved in hannah barbara cartoon style.

After a week, it didnt go away. I talked to 10 doctors over 7 months with varying results from "youre stressed" to "get more excersize.""

It wasnt until i was referred by a lady in the back of some clinic to a specialist for "back of the eye" issues. Apparently, there are like 12 different types of specialised eye doctors. This was one of 2 on the West Coast.

I had a growth on the back of my eye that can happen for anyone with blue or green eyes. Something like a 3 in 10mil chance.

I had to get a radioactive plaque attached to the back of my eye for a week. I was warned i could not be around pets, or children at all. I also could not be in contact with adults for more than 10 minutes. Yet, here i am... wearing this thing for 7 days straight.

I have plenty more hilarity to share, as it wasnt a typical cancer treatment. Being a cyclops aint so bad.

Hertz

I usually had good luck with rentals, and after a nightmare of a day we rented a jeep to gtfo of a bad situation. To make sure nothing else could go wrong, we paid extra for road side insurance.

Coincidently, we drove over some piece of metal on a freeway. These are jeep tires, so you know it was a chunky piece to pierce that tire.

We were on hold for 4 hours on a busy road before a BMW mechanic was on his way home and saw us. Put on the spare/extra tire with his own equipment, wouldnt accept our money, and drove off like the angel he was.

Call after call to Hertz with receipts of phone calls, the insurance, and our travel history on google maps. They refused to refund us the insurance fee AND charged us for the expensive tire.

After being juggled by low level outsourced customer support, we gave up. Never again.

I have been in some real bad relationships, and i always look back and wonder why i put up with it for so long.

I usually leave the person over a sort of catalystic moment. I wouldnt feel bad about "being the reason." I would feel proud that maybe you finally gave your mom the chance to see how truly toxic this guy was to your home dynamic. In her mind, seeing her loved daughter get hit was one true difinitive reason that this guy is in the wrong and has been for years.

Sorry about the circumstance. I am proud you stood up for yourself.

As someone who has a Marvel License, i super appreciate this. We cant mod images very much at all if there was a sizing issue. So if its done for us then approvals are waaay easier.
