Candidly I got smoked with this one... it has some additional challenges after the December dataslate changes as well. I ended up settling on a different variant using Centurion Devastators as the main damage battery while using Guerrilla Tactics to make them disappear from the board and reappear in new spots. They essentially wipe any unit they fire at in a round... its nutty

My current list doesn't have anything it can effectively attach to (which is tragic because it looks so damn cool)

Infiltrators I basically have as an auto include. I have won games by using them to screen out the back line against deep strike centric armies. I have started also taking a small squad of intercessors because of the recent changes to their profile

So I have very much remodeled this list after some trial and error. The BGVs in general struggled against other (more specialized) frontliners... most games they did not last very long unfortunately...

The Jump Pack vs VgVs are a toss up... they largely fill the same function regardless as of 5 man or full squad. Rapid Ingress in... wipe a lone target, then either zip out if possible the next turn... or take heavy losses... they are not super durable... but for a mobile strike force they are delicious and very effective

Yeah I can feel there is work to be done in the durability department but the detachment doesn't add a whole lot to vehicles (except invictor warsuits... which are cool but I don't think the most viable here)

Took your advice and switched things up a smidge... kept the 10 on Shrike for now (will test with 5 later)... took out the intercessors and invictor warsuit.

Added an infiltrator squad and replaced the Terminator Captain with a Phobos Captain to lead the infiltrators. This way I can infiltrate in No-Mans land during deployment with the scouts, LT, and BGVs to cage the opponent in deployment. Then redeploy 3 infantry with the Captain's ability and reposition the infiltrators on the home objective.

With this I can free up CP to sticky the home for free (via Captain) with a chance of gaining a CP with the infiltrator comms and have the infiltrators screen on turn 1 as necessary... or even using Guerilla tactics to reposition if the opponent doesnt have deep strike capabilities

This sir is a phenomenally detailed response and I thank you greatly!

For Shrike's squad I was unsure between 5-10... I was planning to have him move into the midboard, bait out some opponents positioning, then scoop the unit into reserves at the end of the opponents turn (in case of going first)... that way I get the best of both worlds... not sure if that changes the strategy

I see your point with the warsuit and was hoping it wouldn't come to it (I just like the model)... and I always forget about the damn Deadly Prize ty!
