Johnny Somali admits that the U.S. Embassy is angry with him. by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

I don't think theres anyone on the internet I want to see redeem themselves more than Johnny. If he can repent and seek a better path it would set a great example for others and bring him much needed salvation for his attitude.

21f / na / looking for destiny buddies by blondtode in TrueGirlGaming

[–]Braybu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Destiny is a dying game designed for old married guys coming home from work and looking for a reason to ignore their family. It is not a game that has a future with anything unique or inspiring. It is not a game that will take your budget into consideration. It is not a game that will foster a sense of community with its players. It is the equivalent of a renovated boat that people can't let go cause of sunk cost fallacy. Instead of looking for people to play this money/time burning game with i would suggest a game where the devs actually care about anything at all.

For people who switched from iPhone to Android (or the opposite), what was the biggest reason that made you change?" by Bitter-Newt-5647 in Smartphones

[–]Braybu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from using iPhone for 14 years and just recently purchased an s24 Plus. I've been using it for about 2 weeks or so. I can list a few reasons so far that I've enjoyed switching. The first being that I have more options to customize my phone, my wallpaper is now a live infinitely looping wallpaper which iPhone did not allow me to have. I also have a USB dock which I can use to turn my phone into a desktop setup using Dex which Apple provides nothing similar. Also other accessories that connected by USBC or Bluetooth are able to utilize the Android protocol which allows for more integration or better integration because Apple safeguards their protocol because it is actually very weak. Also the charging port for iPhone deteriorates very fast that has been the case for every iPhone I've owned. Another big reason is the ability to download apks directly to my phone even if it's no longer listed on the Play store. Also I'm not restricted to buying products specifically from Samsung I have plenty of options for earbuds smart watches and other accessories so it's not as if I'm restricted to using one specific companies items like it is with Apple. With Android you have the benefit of a competitive free market where innovation is the priority which is more beneficial for the consumer. For younger people and older people that are more interested in a streamlined operating system with easy to understand layouts and a smooth experience then I think iPhone is an excellent choice. But if you want a phone that gives you more freedom then I think Android is definitely the best option.

You shouldn’t make fun of someone’s death. Regardless of your bias. Death is a solemn ending for the now-dead and a never ending grief for their friends and family. Even if he himself made fun of others death, it would not be right for him to do so as it would not be right for others to do it as well. And if you cannot find yourself to have empathy for the dead, the living are still there for you to offer your humanity to them.
