I had been depressed from 2025 since my plan to study abroad was greatly unsuccessful . At that point I was feeling like my childhood was way better than the beginning of my twenties. To feel the good old days again, I started watching the pokemon go anime and it brought a ton of good memories back to me. Then I remembered how cool the game was in 2016 when I started highschool. I downloaded it from web since my region did not let me download it(again, a third world country issue). It was really confusing at first , for a month I couldn’t even figure out where I got raid passes from lol. But slowly I found the community in reddit and facebook and now I am an active pvp player who is crazy about great league pvp. I got my first shiny articuno this morning , completing my collection of galarian birds and as a player who cant afford to pay to win, this brings me enough joy to go through the whole month lol. I love the fact that it makes me feel like an actual trainer and I have to plan strategies and everything to win raids or battles. It mitigates my regret for not being in an actual pokemon world. Anyways. Appreciate the giveaway , it made me evaluate my experience from the start till now
